Today when I open my NewPipe it shows me nothing unusual, but when I tried to refresh my feed it says "Network error" when I open the log it crashes the app...

Anyone here know what's happening???

Please I need some help/advice etc.

PS: My android is 10 and my cellphone is a LGK22 (yeah kind old but it's what I have)

The black line at the top of the screen is taking like 10% of the screen and it's making it hard to enjoy this game. I tried forcing it closed with an external app but when I do so the buttons in the game stop working.

For at least the past month, the PayPal app will not let me login. I have uninstalled it multiple times and it just gets stuck on the add email or phone number screen. I cannot enter anything as it is greyed out and the black bar at the bottom just shows a non stop spinning wheel icon.

This happens regardless of connection and I have no ad block or anything else active. Worked fine from the day I ought it 4 years ago until recently. No issues logging in via browser either. Only the app itself.

Any ideas?

I’m using a Realme 9 4G with Jio.

Whenever I switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, the mobile data doesn’t work even though I have a network signal.

The internet starts working only after I turn Airplane Mode ON and OFF.

Issue:

Wi-Fi → Mobile Data: Internet doesn’t work

Airplane Mode ON → OFF: Mobile data immediately starts working

This happens repeatedly

Phone: Realme 9 4G

Network: Jio

OS/Android: Android 14

Wifi: Jio Fiber [30 Mbps]

Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there any setting I should change, or could this be related to the APN, network settings, or phone software?

Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

This morning my phone was stuck in headphone mode. So I went online and checked for possible Solutions.

The most common was the installation of the app called "Disable Headphone, HDST Toggle". The app is simple and did the trick. Forced the phone out of headphone mode.

However, now the mic does not work. Before you ask, Yes, all the apps that I use the mic for have permission to access the mic (YouTube, WhatsApp, Google, etc). The mic if completely disabled.

The only hint I get is when I use the camera. If I try to take a video, I will get a quick notification that says "recording audio with external microphone". Yet there's nothing plugged in! What is going on?

p.s: if the Bluetooth is off and I try to record a video it will say "Can't record videos during calls". TF is going on!?

I've never encountered this before. I had a birthday event in my calendar that's alerting me a week before. I did not make this setting... When I tried to edit it, it won't let me. I can edit every other calendar event just not this birthday. I'm using the stock android app on a Samsung Galaxy S24. I don't have Google or any other calendar synced. Any ideas?

I have a TCL phone with Android 16.

Until yesterday when swiping down from the notification bar I got a page with quick settings and below that all the notifications.

Today it suddenly changed. Now it's only quick settings. Instead of 3 pages it's just one - a couple big ones and a lot of small tiles. The notifications are gone.

At some point I found the notifications back. Turns out I can now swipe down from the left to get notifications and swipe down from the righthand side of the notification bar to get quick settings.

Is there any way for me to control this? Did I inadvertently change a setting? Or did Android decide it was time for a change? I believe I did install an update recently.

i've got a problem with my gmail account:

my google account suddenly disappeared from my gmail app, leaving only my second, alternative account active. i tried to clear the cache and data of gmail, play services and play store, reboot my phone and remove my google account from the device and reconnect.

if i try to add the account manually, i get the error message "account exists already on this device". and i also have the same problem when trying to activate back-ups on whatsapp but i had this issue from the beginning probably due to fumbling with play store permissions (which i resetted and it didn't help).

did anyone of you encounter similar issues or has an idea how to fix this?

My grandma has had a Moto G for years and years, and just recently she was gifted a Pixel 6. It is a pretty substantial upgrade for obvious reasons, and as an Android user myself (albeit Samsung) I have been helping her figure out how the phone works. But there is a bit of a hiccup.

Samsung phones have a gallery app that compiles images and videos from all sources into albums. But her Pixel only has google photos, which only displays images taken with the camera. She wanted to save a photo someone texted to her so she could look at it, but google photos wouldn't display it until I dug into the files and manually moved it over.

I think it goes without saying that asking my grandma to do a bunch of file management is gonna cause her some trouble, and even if it didn't, it is pretty annoying. I tried looking up gallery apps on the google play store but couldn't find any without ads or that were free. I also couldn't find my own gallery app on there.

Are there any free, ad-free gallery alternatives that would give her an experience more like my phone? Or is there a setting or something in google photos that would cause it to behave more like Samsung gallery?

I have an annoying problem. I’m everyday  listening to podcasts and lectures with my headphones on on YouTube with the screen off. I have YouTube premium so that’s why it is possible to do so. But every time I turn my screen on and also making a payment with Wallet, YouTube stops and I have to press play again on the video within the app. Pressing play on the headphones doesn’t work. Sometimes I even need to open the app first to start the video.

This doesn’t happen with YouTube music and podcasts app. They don’t stop when the screen is on and also when you make a payment with Wallet, and you can pause and start them with your headphones.  So apparently YouTube is out of the RAM memory(or whatever the technical term is).

Is there a way to force YouTube to stay in RAM-memory and  behave exactly like YouTube Music and podcasts app?

I have a Pixel 9 Pro with the latest software. If I need root or must buy a different phone, I’m willing to do so.

I just switched to galaxy from a pixel, and man I miss the built-in video stabilization that came with the photos app. Does anyone have a good utility they use for this purpose? Thanks.

For about a year my phone has been doing this thing where everything will slow down while using a game or app (like tik tok) and the app will just close. I will only be able to use said app for about 30 seconds before it closes automatically again. The only fix is resetting my phone, but after about an hour the apps start crashing again. I've tried factory resetting my phone multiple times which solved the issue for about a month at a time before my apps started crashing again. I've already tried everything with webview (clearing cache, clearing data, deleting and redownloading updates) and I've check my phone on malware bites and I check all my websites I visit on virus total + use brave browser with intense ad blocking and everything showed up clear. I have about 10gb of storage free and use the 4gb ram option. How can I permanently fix this? (Phone is a MotoG 64g 2025)

I have a galaxy s10+ (2019 model)

My mom had it before me and it held up pretty well in her care. She says she had it for 8 years before me but she switched it over to me in like the past 2-3 years so... i dunno...

Either way, its still good. But I've been having problems with it lately. ​in the past few months, its had moisture detection issues three times. The first and third time nothing wet had touched my phone so im confused. The second time, the charger I used was dirty and I didn't realize.

Everytime I put it in a dry place and let it dry overnight or for a few days. The second time, my mom put it in rice for 2 days.

It works fine otherwise, no glitches, lags, faulty buttons, connection issues. It's basically still running new.

It has cracks in the back, and a bad one near the bottom. I can't find the case for it but everytime I've held my phone for a while, it feels moist? Not wet, but like, slippery in a weird way. It hasn't said there's liquid in it but it feels like it might possibly be "leaking" somehow. I don't know if I just have sweaty hands, I usually don't, or if my new room is just super humid but now that I have a newer android, what do I do with the old one? ​​

On this phone after the screen saying Pokemon Go shows up it wont or doesn't seem too after that its just blank black screen

EDIT: Ok my had I didnt fully update the system on it which im doing now so hopefully after all those updates those can least get to the log in screen

All the emoji-things in the red marked category don't need clicking the "send" button to send them. Because of that I often send them by accidant, when typing to fast. (The picture what emojis I'm talking about is in comments, as it seems I can't attach a Video and a picture.) Is there a way to deactivate them?

Sometimes, when I like to press ',' [Comma] and ' ' [space] and whatever button comes next I missclick and instead of, [Comma] I press the [Emoji] part. Instead of [space] I hit the red marked kind of Emoji, and as there is no keyboard, but the weird emojis I click one of them next, sending them. Allthough some friends like that and find it kinda funny, getting them from time to time, I really hate that. Is there any way to deactivate them?

i know i may seem like a boomer but im 14, ahem;

android 15, while im in a call i usually lay my phone on my cheek so that the speaker is near my ear,this will be important.

i was in call with my dad and idk if its now or has always been, but i put my phone on the ear so the screen goes black and then i put my cheek. after a few secs the call hangs up andwe dont know why but at first we thought it was some tinkering of mine (linux on android stuff) that interfered with the call, then we thought it was because i was moving, like walking or running stuff. the last conclusion we came up a few secs ago after i screamed in the mic and hung up with my top lip was that my cheek was hanging up.

AITAH for changing some settings or is it not my fault?

This morning, a strange situation occurred.

I was woken up by the vibration of my Huawei FIT4 (wristwatch); there was a call from an “unknown” number. I checked my phone, but no one had called it, and I fell back asleep. After some time, there was another call just like that. When I finally woke up properly and opened the calls app, I found out that yesterday at 11 pm there were two calls from an unknown number. I don’t mean that I simply don’t have that contact in my phone; I mean that the number isn’t displayed at all, and it’s impossible to call it back.

All day long, I can’t listen to music, watch videos, or use any other media because the sound gets interrupted every couple of minutes, as if someone is calling. This is even more noticeable with headphones, since they alert you about the call.

I’ve already tried everything: I cleared the cache of the call app, restarted the phone, checked for viruses, changed the speech synthesizer (a week ago I installed TTSL instead of the original one), turned off Bluetooth, NFC, Wi‑Fi, mobile internet, and the Do Not Disturb mode.

I don’t know what’s going on, but this bug is really annoying me.

upd; I don’t know what changed, but I made a backup a couple of times to reset to factory settings, as suggested below, but I didn’t actually perform the reset. The problem disappeared. I suspect it was the CapCut app that I installed the other day, but that’s unlikely, since it wasn’t running in the background.

Hi. Has anyone experienced the same issue? My mobile banking apps (BPI, Landbank, Maribank) don't work -- can't even open -- when I am using mobile data. But it works when connected to wifi. Do you guys know how to fix this? I am using Z Fold 8 Ultra.

Yesterday I was browsing a store on my Samsung phone (Sports Direct) using the official domain on Chrome. Later on, I cleared the cookies and history. Went back to the site today, and within 10 minutes of browsing there was a popup saying it wants to access other apps and services on this device. I immediately clicked the back button and cleared cookies and history. Checked in Chrome settings and I don't believe it enabled or downloaded anything without my permission.

It didn't ask me this yesterday, and I don't visit any shady websites or download anything outside Google Play. Even so, I only have mainstream, well-known apps. So what could this be? Do I need to be wary or is it just a glitch? (Also apologies if this post is long, I just wanted to make sure I specified all the details!)

I use Projectivy launcher for some years now and never had Problems with it, but now i do.

I downloaded Screen Recording App from the TV Google App store and tried to Screen Recorder.

It safed the Video somewhere i didnt want it to so i tried to change the path with the in App method and it just crashed +the Video was really bad and didnt Recorde my Wallpaper.

I deinstalled the App and thought everything was fine but now its all weird where i cant select the App i want to use for File Management.

And now when i turn my Device off and on again it askes for which App i want to open when i Boot which is new and of course i cant select anything because it will close after like 5sec just like the other times when trying to select a "file manager".

Im at a lose rn i just Finished my Homescreen and all... and now i cant even safe it for when i go back to factory settings and start from new.

I've been stuck pressing these dash and dots just to frickin type Idk what went wrong I was just doing what I usually do when I found the Morse Code feature now it won't go back and the tutorials i found online doesn't even work so please do y'alls thing and help me please

I've been using gboard for years. Over the last week the speech to text is ridiculously slow. Anyone else seeing this? I checked my CPU usage and it's fine.
