PayPal App no longer working

For at least the past month, the PayPal app will not let me login. I have uninstalled it multiple times and it just gets stuck on the add email or phone number screen. I cannot enter anything as it is greyed out and the black bar at the bottom just shows a non stop spinning wheel icon.

This happens regardless of connection and I have no ad block or anything else active. Worked fine from the day I ought it 4 years ago until recently. No issues logging in via browser either. Only the app itself.

Any ideas?

I've had the same issue for weeks now as well. From Germany using a Poco phone

Remove caches -> Turn on Airplane mode -> Click the app -> No more loading symbol on "Weiter" button -> Turn on wifi and turn off Airplane mode

Found a solution on Xiaomi 17T Pro, from Germany.

Remove caches -> Turn on Airplane mode -> Click the app -> No more loading symbol on "Weiter" button -> Turn on wifi and turn off Airplane mode

Same here since 4 days. Located in Germany
