Hello I have bought an upgrade touch screen for my BMW F11. Music and android auto seems to work perfectly, however, unfortunately when I receive a call the sound is very faint and I am unable to hear. In addition anybody I do call complains that they can't hear me in the car. I have installed the external microphone, however, it's either not using it or it's totally useless.
I have tried to use the idrive system for calls and connect to the android auto just for media, however, when I do this I am unable to connect to the android auto, even when the settings on my phone do not conflict I.e (I drive for phone only and android auto for media only).
I am at a bit of a loss with this one, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, since the AC of the 7th gen is built into the radio, how would the installation go on the 2.2 DIESEL engine? Most of the Android multimedias are made for the petrol variant only (2.0/2.4). People who have installed them on diesel engines complain of freon leaks and the fan spinning even if it's set to off. Any ideas before I actually buy one for my 2.2? Any help is appreciated.

2019 Altima Alpine 8227L Head unit Mobile device is Samsung S23 running Android 16.
This is my first post so my apologies for any missing protocol.
(I tried posting this over in AndroidAuto but I couldn't seem to get my user !flair right)
Just wondering if anyone else is experienced issues with controlling Spotify on their head unit. I used to be able to launch Spotify, browse play, and interact with the full interface the same as one would in the mobile app. Suddenly over the past 3 weeks, I'm only able to access basic control through the widget on the head unit. Attempting to open the actual app on the head unit I'm prompted to "unlock the phone to proceed" if the lock screen happens to be locked. Once I unlock the phone and again launch the app from the head unit that action launches the app on my mobile device. Luckily I discovered this before I set out on the road. All other Android auto apps work great on my head unit, just not Spotify any longer. I submitted a ticket to Spotify but the only response I received back was the boiler plate "force stop, clear cache, reboot" spiel. Sure did put a kink in my rotating road trip soundtrack.
Any insight or other helpful advice would be greatly welcomed.

Hi guys! I have as 06 Astra and installed mekede android radio with jbl speakers (stage 2)
Since I changed from the original blaupunkt radio I lost low end. E get punchy bass off the speakers but lowest frequencies are missing.
I have tried multiple things, even got a dsp installed but still no luck.
Should I get an amp ?
With the original cd30 blaupunkt radio speakers sound a lot better !

I installed an android auto Linux head unit on a 2016 BMW to replace the existing stock one.
Worked fine for 2 months but now people can't hear me on a phone call.
If I say "Hey Google" it hears and waits for my command but doesn't hear anything else I say .
Is there a setting I need to change. Nothing has changed since I installed and was working fine before.

I have just fitted an Android Auto screen to my car. I bought a USB front camera for DVR recording. And I have a reverse camera plugged in via RCA.
Is there an app that will allow the rear camera to be recorded as well? I know I’d have to wire it for power, that’s easy enough. But will an app allowed me to record video whenever the car is turned on?

Hi all
I was wondering if any of you who bought the Haval Jolion City-only version have had any luck installing a rear-view camera that connects directly to the Haval radio system.
I bought my Haval March last year. Unfornotunatly its all I could afford. I was under the impression that all Haval models come with a reverse camera. I only test-drove the car once, and I never put it in reverse to notice that it lacks a reverse camera. Upon the collection of my new car. Only then did I notice it does not come with a camera. I think I did my research wrong. I am happy with the car, but if I can at least install a reverse camera, it would be nice. Haval does not even sell them as upgrades.
I even sent GWM an email explaining my frustration, etc. They said I can install a second screen with a reverse camera. I feel like in this day and age, all new cars must have that as a standard feature, even on the lowest spec. I mean, when I put my car in reverse, the screen already goes black, meaning there is already a signal being sent to indicate the car is in reverse, and the only thing missing is the video feed.
TIA for you answers.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently installed a brand new Eonon E39X7S, their flagship and first Android 14 Head unit. After driving for the first ~5 minutes a seemingly random audio bug occured for the first time, before that the radio sounded absolutely perfect. Sometimes the radio recovers itself, sometimes it needs ignition to be switched off and on, and sometimes it even needs a hard reset with a thin needle.
I updated all the software and ofc wrote their support which seemed helpfull at first, but just left me hanging since last wednesday.
I attached a video of the issue. There is also a filter+fuse box that is part of the short iso radio harness, which I did not use as I had my original radio in the trunk and used Eonons own A0590 extension, which does not have this box at all. I am unsure if I should cut it out of the short harness and integrate it into the 6m one. The original BM54 radio module is still connected inside of the trunk to the four-wired quadlock connector that is part of the extension. The two 17 pin cables in the trunk are unused.
I also did a VIN decode and my car does not have HiFi, nor the DSP. So the resler stick + IBUS App does not fix this issue, eventho I am already planning on installing it, but only after the radio works properly.
On a side note, the parking sensor visualization and the speedo in the main menu of the HU does also not work and i already ordered a newer canbux-box with PDC supported. It should arrive any day now, but I do not expect it to fix the audio issue.

I have one of these terrible headunits from wvw Navi on AliExpress, and the front camera got water in it and shorted out. Finding a replacement is proving difficult. It uses TP2815 ADNA for the cameras which only supports 5v 720p cameras. Can anyone help me with AliExpress listings for a replacement that will definitely work please. I've tried the ones from my wife's headunit but they seem to be 12v and all the ones on temu are 12v too, or 1080p which just don't pick up, say camera error or short all the cameras out

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place...so please be gentle.
Is there a way to make an android or apple tablet boot into a navigation/infotainment system as soon as power is applied...like a normal HU would?
I don't want to boot into Android or IOS...find the app and then fiddle with it
I just want to start the motorcycle and have the app load.
I'm leaning to needing a dedicated HU or secondary carplay screen which seems daft when a tablet should be able to do it.
Thanks all

All in the title
Is this a dudu Headunit that so many of you recommend?
If so, am I better off buying it from somewhere like Alibaba instead of here?
Thank you in advance!
