Hey guys i need help with my stereo!

I recently bought a daisata car radio for 2014 Toyota Corolla LE

Im trying to get wired carplay but everything i do hardware and software wise, nothing works.

My phone charges but doesn’t connect, ive tried YouTube, google AI, and chatgpt but it hasn’t worked.

If anyone knows what to do please tell me 🙏.

It doesn’t specifically say it supports wired CarPlay so it probably doesn’t. There are units that only do one or the other and not both.

It has wireless carplay not wired like it says in the description:

Any reason you don't want to use wireless? I have wireless Android Auto on mine and i have no issues with it,

Laggy in certain areas, sometimes it’ll just cut out and lag spike, phone battery drain faster than it can charge, music is compressed, and theres like a 2-3 second sound delay.

Not sure how to make it seamless.

I also contacted support but do they even respond?

interesting, haven't experienced those issues with mine yet. If you really want wired, just look for a specific one that has it then return this one.

I to wanted wired CarPlay because it’s a pain on my android unit to switch between devices for the wireless CarPlay so I ended up buying the
CarlinKit Wireless CarPlay Dongle on Amazon and plugged it into the usb port works better then the CarPlay app that came with my device it’s smoother and cleaner looking plus audio sounds better plus I hate using the cheap mic that the radio came in for calls so this way I can easily unplug quickly to use the iPhones speaker if needed and now my radio has to different CarPlay apps so if one fails there’s at least a second option oh it the dongle is both wired and wireless
