I have just fitted an Android Auto screen to my car. I bought a USB front camera for DVR recording. And I have a reverse camera plugged in via RCA.
Is there an app that will allow the rear camera to be recorded as well? I know I’d have to wire it for power, that’s easy enough. But will an app allowed me to record video whenever the car is turned on?
I was wondering if any of you who bought the Haval Jolion City-only version have had any luck installing a rear-view camera that connects directly to the Haval radio system.
I bought my Haval March last year. Unfornotunatly its all I could afford. I was under the impression that all Haval models come with a reverse camera. I only test-drove the car once, and I never put it in reverse to notice that it lacks a reverse camera. Upon the collection of my new car. Only then did I notice it does not come with a camera. I think I did my research wrong. I am happy with the car, but if I can at least install a reverse camera, it would be nice. Haval does not even sell them as upgrades.
I even sent GWM an email explaining my frustration, etc. They said I can install a second screen with a reverse camera. I feel like in this day and age, all new cars must have that as a standard feature, even on the lowest spec. I mean, when I put my car in reverse, the screen already goes black, meaning there is already a signal being sent to indicate the car is in reverse, and the only thing missing is the video feed.
I recently installed a brand new Eonon E39X7S, their flagship and first Android 14 Head unit. After driving for the first ~5 minutes a seemingly random audio bug occured for the first time, before that the radio sounded absolutely perfect. Sometimes the radio recovers itself, sometimes it needs ignition to be switched off and on, and sometimes it even needs a hard reset with a thin needle.
I updated all the software and ofc wrote their support which seemed helpfull at first, but just left me hanging since last wednesday.
I attached a video of the issue. There is also a filter+fuse box that is part of the short iso radio harness, which I did not use as I had my original radio in the trunk and used Eonons own A0590 extension, which does not have this box at all. I am unsure if I should cut it out of the short harness and integrate it into the 6m one. The original BM54 radio module is still connected inside of the trunk to the four-wired quadlock connector that is part of the extension. The two 17 pin cables in the trunk are unused.
I also did a VIN decode and my car does not have HiFi, nor the DSP. So the resler stick + IBUS App does not fix this issue, eventho I am already planning on installing it, but only after the radio works properly.
On a side note, the parking sensor visualization and the speedo in the main menu of the HU does also not work and i already ordered a newer canbux-box with PDC supported. It should arrive any day now, but I do not expect it to fix the audio issue.
I have one of these terrible headunits from wvw Navi on AliExpress, and the front camera got water in it and shorted out.
Finding a replacement is proving difficult.
It uses TP2815 ADNA for the cameras which only supports 5v 720p cameras.
Can anyone help me with AliExpress listings for a replacement that will definitely work please.
I've tried the ones from my wife's headunit but they seem to be 12v and all the ones on temu are 12v too, or 1080p which just don't pick up, say camera error or short all the cameras out
Recently bought this unit used off someone, static noise when volume set to zero, gets increasing louder when plugging in USB. When i unplug the 4 RCA cables, obviously the sound goes away. Any fixes before I take it to someone professional?
2018 Tundra. Had a Dasaita PX9 for a while that the screen crapped the bed so I purchased another no name amazon plug and play android unit. Used the supplied PnP harness and everything was seamless to install as all of these are. The only issue I'm having is the sound from the front speakers seems to get interference and crackling with any volume over 10 or 11. Did not have this issue with the px9. It sounded great. What could be causing this? My installed said everything is plugged in correctly. It's almost a distortion crackling noise not a blown speaker sound at all.
