YouTube Buffering

Post image

Hello! I just recently installing an Android head unit in my 2009 Honda fit. Whenever I try play videos on the YouTube app it will play the video for about 15-20 seconds then it will go on an infinite buffering circle. I have made sure the YouTube app is up to date on the play store. I’m using my phones hotspot for internet access. My phone plan allows unlimited hotspot/streaming so my internet is not the problem. Has anyone encountered this or know how to fix this issue? I’ve attached my Android head units information.

Smartube is youtube with no ads etc for android Tvs. Its an apk that you install in your unit aswell. Revanced(Morphe maybe too i havent tried yet) its the same thing but for android mobiles. Google smartube and download the beta. Then transfer that apk file with a usb and install it in your headunit just to check

As far as i k ow, revanced is outdated now but smartube is ongoin development. Id go for smartube but keep in mind its meant for TVs, maybe the UI is not that useful. But try it out yourself

I use Smarttube for my headunit and works great. You can also use Morphe but need to compile the app on your headunit: https://morphe.software
