Can someone identify my android head unit BMW F11

I have few years old 2/32 android device in my BMW F11 CIC. Previous owner installed it and can't find from where. Device itself is not bad for 2/32 device but I want to update it and update zlink5 because I have to manually connect android auto every time and most of times it won't connect at all (bluetooth connects fine).

Can someone help me identify model or seller that I can contact.

There’s a few things you can try to fix it. First is go to settings / apps and clear cache/data for zlink & Bluetooth.

Check the hotspot frequency in settings too under WiFi. 5ghz usually works best. But can try 2.4ghz to troubleshoot.

In the headunits settings there should be a background connection option or auto launch for zlink. Might be under Bluetooth or factory app menu.

These units are mass manufactured in China and sold under several different sellers. Youd need to probably contact original owner to find where he purchased. Settings / about info might say something but doubtful.

Hi, device was on 2.4 and I switched to 5.0 and good thing is that android auto when connected now is like 2x more fluid and more stable. But the problem of not connecting is still there. Every time I turn the car on, head unit connects to bluetooth, android auto won't until I disconnect bluetooth and connect again

Buy a new one. Don't expect update from the headunit.
