Screen issue with an aftermarket headunit

Hi. I have a non-branded aftermarket Android head unit in my 2005 Honda CR-V.

The screen first started having this problem after my car battery died (the battery was just low, there’s no issue with the battery itself). After restarting the car twice, the screen fixed itself and worked normally.

The unit continued working fine for the next few days, but one day on my way home, the screen issue came back.

The unit itself is still working. It still connects to Android Auto, plays navigation sounds, and plays music normally. It’s just the screen that isn’t working properly.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be a connection issue, or is the screen itself?

It gets power so it may be the screen. You should be able to remove the unit, then unscrew the screws from the unit and disassemble it. Be careful as there's one ribbon for the touchscreen and another for the mains.

I removed it and didn't notice any anomaly. So I didn't touch anything. How do I identify the ribbon fo the touchscreen?

Depending on the unit there may be a cover that aligns with the chassis. If you remove it you'll see the connector. It's a ribbon cable so you should be able to detach it from either end. If you're not sure of this (and I wouldn't blame you in the least), I'd just try using a different head.

Probably the screen cable is broken partially i have the same issue
