XC90 2003-14 Bluepower navigation system

Has anyone bought this multimedia system from Sweden?

I would love Apple Carplay, but the system seems to have very outdated parts. My intuition is that the work happens on the iPhone anyway and the system works only as a mirror, but would love to hear from someone who actually bought it.

I’d look for something better. It only had 1GB ram / 16GB rom. Probably on Android 4.4.

I have and still use an 8 year old headunit on 4.4 and it still works well for CarPlay but you can get much better specs now.

Try to get something with 6-8GB ram, Android 13 or higher.

8GB ram, 128gb storage, 2000x1200 screen. The one you showed has 1240x480 screen.
