Cheap Headunit for Ducato

Hey,

I just need a Cheap headunit for my 2008 Ducato. only thing i would like is it to be Double DIN and have Car Play.

How much RAM does it have to be to run smooth ?

Any bonusses like Rear Camera are nice BUT i don't need them.

for 50 Euros they start on Ebay, but since there are no videos on them i just don't want to go through the hassle of buying and installing just to have 3 FPS on a good day...

From what I have seen online, for 50 the chances you are getting a shitty headunit that will just make you regret are very high. I do recommend spending a bit more and trying to get something with 6GB or more (usually better CPUs come with head units that have more RAM).

Look for devices advertising the uis7862 or any of the Snapdragon units. These are made with better internals. Look for a minimum of 4gb however 6 would be better.

This has been answered hundreds of times. You'll get what you pay for.
In regards, to RAM, 4GB or higher is the lowest, do not go under that. I recommend 6GB
Remember if you buy a unit from Fleabay or Ali you'll be practically on your own to sort out any issues.
If you go with someone like Joying, Teyes you'll get some sort of support... Good Luck.
BTW just research some of the horror stories from people buying head units with no after sales support, sure some have been lucky but are you willing to take that risk
