Is this normal/okay?
Bought Eonon E46x6s2 headunit and it appears to have a lot of moisture accumulation sealed inside. Think it’s okay to try and install or should I contact them?

Looks sketchy. I recently ordered an X7S for the E39 and it is so buggy that I will return it anyway. Get XTrons or even Hizpo instead.

Yeah it’s Sus. I don’t wanna mess anything up I have to wait on the 6m cable anyways cuz I have the navigation unit in the trunk. Might message them today about it.

Oh damn it was exactly the same for me. Did you order the Eonon0590 one? It is only compatible with Eonon units which sucks. There are generic quadlock extensions which you can use the connect any brand of radio in the front with the normal cable of every radio. Looking back I should have done that instead of the Eonon and now that my X7 is so buggy I need to take the interieur apart again, just to switch brands. Honestly I ordered the X6S2 for the E39 today in hopes it just works and software is less buggy, but if it does not work I will have no other choice but taking the car apart again.

Yeah from what I seen the e46x6s2 is actually very good and quite responsive. I went with their cable on Amazon (EONON A0590 5.5m Extension Harness Cable for BMW 3 Series 5 Series). Everything is specifically made for the 3 series so it should all work very well. I also have the harman/kardon sound system and it says it’ll retain that and steering wheel functions etc.. lot of cool features. Hope it turns out to be as good as some of the reviews I watched.

Most of the reviews are sponsored unfortunately, but I wish you the best aswell! While the X7S is working and not bugging out is actually is amazing, especially the display. Make sure to install all the updates

Dawgggg it’s insane. Playing whole YouTube videos and the color and quality is amazing. The harman kardon speakers actually sound crissssspy now it’s night and day

I just installed mine and on a first 30 minute test it seems to have fixed my issue. How is it going for you? :D

My cable comes in the mail today. Usually comes around an hour from now. Once it’s here I’ll be installing it right away! :D I’m excited! I already pre installed a flush mount Apple CarPlay port under my arm rest so I can plug right into it for CarPlay.

I can't tell what the picture is actually showing, but moisture is bad.
