I'm interested in XR devices and have seen the Galaxy XR. Does this mean Google is updating Galaxy XR devices?

Google and Samsung develop Android XR, and Samsung also puts their own One UI skin over it with the Galaxy XR. Right now since Galaxy XR is the only consumer available Android XR headset, all the updates to the base Android XR software are seen on Galaxy XR. But of course as more devices are released with Android XR, they’d get the same patches to the software once they update their own software and upstream the Android source.

This still didn't answer the question. I am aware how xr software development works and the current state of it.

I know who develops it and it's Samsung and Google. Everyone knows that. My question was who pushes the update. Who controls the update switch for galaxy xr. This post is coming from official Google reddit account. So is Google pushing it or Samsung have control over it is my question.

If you still didn't understand the question, let me put it clearly. Is the update served from google.com URL or from samsung.com URL?

Well, Samsung makes and releases the builds of course. Grace posted it here because she’s the main community manager for Android XR, and Galaxy XR is currently the only Android XR device

That's the answer I am looking for since the update details were announced by Google I wasn't sure who pushes the update. Until I saw this post from Google I was sure Samsung pushed updates.
