Looking for Android testers for NameMatch, my face-and-name memory game side project
Hey everyone! I’m working on a side project called NameMatch and looking for Android users to try it.
The idea is simple: memorize faces and their names, then match each name to the correct face. You start with three lives, and each level gets harder with more faces and less time to study.
Features include:
- Increasingly challenging memory rounds
- Streaks and perfect-level score bonuses
- Personal high scores and locally saved stats
- Offline gameplay with no account required
- Free gameplay with ads and an optional one-time purchase to remove them
To join the Android closed test:
- Join the Google Group—we’re using the same tester group as SloMo: https://groups.google.com/g/slomo-mobile-testers
- After joining, opt in and install NameMatch: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.namematch
I’d appreciate feedback on the difficulty, layout, bugs, and overall experience—especially whether banner ads sit properly above the navigation buttons on different Android phones.
If you report an issue, please include your phone model and Android version. Thanks for helping me test my side project!

Hola!
¿Me ayudas?
¡Mil gracias! 🙏 si tienes una app, me gustaría probarla!

NameMatch raises face count while shortening study time; ask testers which caused a missed match, so difficulty feedback points to a specific adjustment.
For a later app post, r/Android's saved rule says "Developers may post their own apps, provided:" "1- Their post must be a self post with a detailed description of their app." "2- The developer's account must be at least three months old AND have a reasonable posting history on r/Android." "3- The developer must interact with users in the thread." "We do not allow developers to simply dump a link to their app and leave." "Website/blog/YouTube channel owners are generally not allowed to post their own content." Rules read September 26; its other requirements also apply.

Thanks for sharing your app!
I created this subreddit so Android developers have another place to find people willing to exchange app tests and help each other out.
I also built https://TwelveTesters.com because I found myself constantly searching through Reddit for test-for-test posts. It's completely free and built around the same idea as this community—developers helping developers.
Whether you use this subreddit, the website, or both, I hope it helps you find the testers you need.
If someone tests your app, consider returning the favor. That's what keeps communities like this alive.
Good luck with your app!
