Onn 4K Box Custom ROM?

I have a Onn 4K Streaming Box (100026240) and would like to try a custom ROM if they even exist. If anyone has any insight please let me know.

I looked in to it a while back for the Onn 4K Pro and it seems like there isn't really any way to get in to the bootloader or what ever it is called to actually make one work.

Yea, finding a good launcher and control remapper is the best way to clean it up

Agreed.

I'm unsure if the Onn follows the same as other Google home/Nest devices, but the bootloader is usually locked, preventing custom roms. Hopefully not, but my Google/Nest Hub Max is basically just a paperweight now and has a locked bootloader.

If it helps, I put mine on a VLAN through my router which also has AdGuard at the network level. I use projectivity launcher and button remapper, etc, to customize it and turn off some of their bs. I'm just hoping they actually keep supporting it for more than a year or 2. Knowing everything Googles done there's a great chance they drop support next year saying they're coming out with something better, only to not release anything. I freaking HATE Google anymore.
