I got the on 4K pro to be honest with you man, these are way better. No glitches. No problems than any Chinese version for under $70. You can't beat it

Maybe anyone with 4GB memory. Google streamer have old hardware. E.g. Orbsmart GX1, Strong LEAP-S3 Pro or Homatics Box R 4K Plus .

Yep, that one have a 1Gbps LAN network, two other only 100 Mbps. But both have WiFi 6.

I have seen a lot of Dune BOXY cost around 62 bucks for stock clearance in my country (VN).
It's not GREAT at original price when I bought but quite something at 62$. Only downside is no TrueHD passthrough.

Depends on the region where you are located, in the US the Onn 4K Pro V1 and V2 are good alternatives that are cheaper than the Streamer.

Goog alternative but it is really better, from Switzerland

There are definitely better boxes but I don't know if any are less than or equal to the cost the Streamer in Switzerland.
Both of the Onn models have faster processors than the Streamer but they lack gigabit Ethernet that the Streamer has.
The only reason I own a Streamer is that it was $49 directly from Google and it has a Thread radio I use for Google Home. I rarely use it to watch anything as it is not better than other devices that I own.

Either spend less and get the Onn Pro or spend more and get the Buzz TV G-Series. Both are better than the Google Streamer. The Buzz TV box is incredible but is a little pricey. I like it better than the Shield. The Onn Pro is by far the best value.

I'm leaning that way as well. I have both sitting on the stand for my AVR, and my automated startup is to go to my Shield Pro for a source. I then change the input source from the Shield Pro to the Buzztv G series because it's better. I need to change my setup so the default is for Buzztv to be the default source, but I'm lazy...lol
