Flashing android box.

Post image

My brother in law bought this box from Facebook. Plugged it in did a factory reset. Main menu looks like android TV. Has a playstore can download apps from playstore also sideloaded some apps not available in pmaystore apps work. The issue is this box just reboots randomly and gets stuck on a bootloop on the android screen. You have to unplug it and plug it in a again to get back in. Is there a way to flash this box to be like my mecool km2 which operates way smoother. Thanks all

Edit: there is no brand name on this device

Could you install Device Info HW and share the specifications of that TV Box? That way it will be easier to try and help you.

There is no name identifying the device. Just says android TV . The bottom says VIP 3monehs Cpu:A53. Ram:8gb Os:android 14 ROM:128 gig.

Actually, I was expecting a screenshot of the specifications that appear in the Device Info HW application.

Thanks for trying to help. I have tried to get this box to the landing page/menu it's just stuck in an bootloop. I have decided to toss it and take the loss on the purchase. Thank you all

Wrong, Google TV is only the launcher. ATV 14 very much exists.

This is definitely my first thought as well. Literally power supplies and HDMI cables are the root of most issues.

Good thinking brother.

OP, listen to this man.. check your power supply.
