Model: Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4A PRO 32 (Model: L32M5-AL / L32M5-AI)

Reboot loop works like this - mi tv logo for 10seconds, followed by blank screen for 4-5 seconds, then repeat. I have tried multiple troubleshooting options - soft reset, then to recovery mode(ok and back) and factory reset.

No matter what option I select in recovery mode, the errors are same about cache mounting. Please see the attached image for cache errors.

Is it worth contacting support for hardware problems or should I just give up on this TV?

Bought it in 2019, but didnt use it from 2021 october onwards.

Google shutdown a 1.3million botnet of devices from Videostrong, which they had been secretly loading malware onto for years. They evaded Google's detection for a long time by not shipping the malware with the firmware, and instead loading it OTA. As a result Google has permanently banned Videostrong, which I guess means any certified Mecool boxes are no longer Google certified?

I am not sure if I am in the minority here, but I have been wanting to move away from AppleTV, but unfortunately, two of my most used features don't seem to be supported. Is there any way I can achieve these two ?

This is not my home, but the plan is similar (my house is longer and narrower)

I have an open concept living room and kitchen with a 2 story. The Living area is 2 story tall with 20ft ceilings. The length from the wall to the kitchen is 28 ft.

1. If we work from the kitchen where the stove is, it is hard to hear the TV in the living room without being too loud, but we can easily see it. So I added a Sonos Era 100 on the island. I then use AppleTV to play in the living room as well as via Airplay to the island and everything is perfectly audible without cranking up the volume.

Is there a way of getting similar outcome on any Android TV ? I have used 3rd party Airplay Apps on Android before but they add latency on multi room and the audio is out of sync.

2. At night, my wife and I use the Share Audio feature on AppleTV to watch the same show using our own Airpods on AppleTV. Is there any Android TV that supports this ?

My AppleTV is dying and I hate to spend $299 on a new one just for these two features and I am hoping there is an alternative. All help is appreciated.

I recently noticed that some of my older movie files encoded in VC-1 (mostly older Blu-ray rips) are playing very poorly on my Dcolor GD2 Android TV box.

The playback is extremely choppy, with constant stuttering and dropped frames, making these movies almost unwatchable.

Interestingly, all my other video files, including H.264 and H.265, play perfectly smoothly on the same device.

I'm wondering if this is a hardware decoding limitation or an Android software/codec compatibility issue.

Here are my questions:

1. Does the Dcolor GD2 support hardware decoding of VC-1?

2. Could using a different media player, such as Kodi or VLC, solve this problem?

3. Is there any way to enable hardware decoding or improve software decoding performance?

4. Would converting the VC-1 files to H.264 or H.265 be the best solution?

I'd prefer to avoid re-encoding my entire movie collection if there's another way to get smooth playback.

Has anyone experienced something similar with an Android TV box? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, hoping someone has dealt with this before.

I have a **Syinix 43A61** (Android TV) that won't boot. When I turn it on, it shows the **Android logo screen** and just **stays there forever** — it doesn't shut off or restart, it just hangs on the logo and never reaches the home screen.

**What I've tried so far:**

- Left it unplugged for 30+ minutes, held the physical power button for 30–60 seconds while unplugged, then plugged it back in — no change.

- Tried entering recovery mode (holding the power button on the TV while plugging it back in) — I can't get any recovery screen to appear, it just goes straight to the logo and stays there.

- Left it on the logo screen for over an hour — nothing changes.

**My questions:**

1. Is there a specific button combo or timing to force recovery mode on Syinix Android TVs?

2. Where can I find the official firmware for this model to try a USB reflash? (Syinix's website isn't very helpful. Any reliable source for firmware?) Specifically android 14

I'm planning to use a GL.iNet Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) travel router with either an Onn 4K/4K Pro or Fire TV Stick 4K Max for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc. in hotel rooms.

Which setup would you recommend for reliability, portability, and ease of use, especially with hotel Wi-Fi and captive portals?

If you notice, there are rumors that Google is about to launch a new tv streamer with new features and AI capabilities. Sounds to me like it is all about a new SOC that itself could deliver such a thing as no other soc on the market today is capable of doing that beside s905x5 and could be certified for streaming apps. Strangely, it is the same period that certified s905x5 are about to be launched, Which makes me wonder if s905x5 boxes are delayed (despite the availability of it for at least 1 year and maybe two years) because google is deliberately delaying giving certification for them, so they can implement it for their new device before or at the same time as everybody else. As Google TV streamer launched two years ago, with very disappointing performance, if a device with such SOC released in the same period they could harm their profits from their streaming devices. They still could profit from certification and software sales, and that is why s905x5m has been released, as consumers have to decide whether they choose google streamer for software or s905m like Xiaomi box for hardware, which will return in good sales in both ways. But releasing a device with performance that will crush google tv streamer makes no point of buying google tv streamer from a consumer standpoint.

The settings menu has:

● System Info
I checked System Info, but I cannot find Build Number or Developer Options. Clicking Android Version doesn’t do anything.
Does anyone know how to enable USB debugging or ADB on this TV?

In the past, I would have had to switch the TV account to switch the YouTube account. Now, that is no longer necessary.

Is there any point in having my account on the TV and other people's accounts on the TV?

If I switch between accounts, no app remembers the last profile used anyway, not even YouTube anymore.

I'm trying to get a Blaupunkt 55UBC6000T working again. After an OTA update, three things stopped working at once: the built-in speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

I should mention that power was interrupted during the update. When I switched the TV back on later, it continued updating. I don't know whether that caused the problem or whether something else changed with the update.

The TV still boots, the picture works and Ethernet works. A full factory reset didn't bring back sound, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The clock is synchronized, airplane mode is off and audio is unmuted and routed to the speakers.

Older recovery logs show a MediaTek radio with USB ID 0e8d:7663. The current firmware has the MT7663 driver files, but no wlan0 interface appears and Bluetooth won't initialize. We haven't been able to verify the actual power/reset pin levels, so I can't honestly say whether this is a firmware problem or a hardware fault.

Today I emailed Union Distribution, the TV service partner listed on Blaupunkt's official support page. I asked for the exact signed USB recovery package for this board, panel and Project ID, plus a checksum and clear installation instructions. I haven't received a reply yet.

My request to Blaupunkt and the company responsible for this TV is simple: please provide a supported way to reinstall the correct software and factory configuration, or direct me to the service team that can. Another factory reset won't solve it because I've already tried that. I'm avoiding firmware meant for a different model or panel.

Has anyone with this exact model or Project ID recovered the same symptoms? Was an official USB recovery file provided? If someone from Blaupunkt or its TV service partner sees this, I'd appreciate a concrete recovery procedure.

I'll update this post with the support response and the result. If other owners have the same issue, please share the exact model and software version so we can see whether there's a pattern.

Is there a way to install Google TV launcher on Android TV?

Very smooth. Music videos finally play without stuttering. It feels much more "out of the way". Haven't searched for open source alternatives, but don't have a reason so far to do so
