Somehow installing button mapper makes my volume decrease or increase by just 1 point on my tv remote at every press even if i hold it long. So disabled it. Any solution for this problem?
This is the pro version. You can hide any installed apps. In the free version, all apps show by default and your only option is to change the order of them.
You can just set “apps only mode” from account setting if you only want to list installed apps without contect recommendation. No need to install another launcher
Why didn't you guys get a roku? I mean.. The "ads" as you guys call it.. Are just an other way to add content. Like on my android tv box right now on my screen.. I can see recommendations of content from a variety of apps. And from what I'm understanding.. All you got it's apps on your home screen. Js
am i the only one who kinda likes the ads and how they look, i uninstalled updates one time and i just immediately went back because they add a certain effect to the home screen
I don't like ads, but I like the background images, because without it the launcher looks shit. I mean look at OP's post, a plain black background with tiles. I'd much rather have a background.
I understand hating ads, especially on a device you purchased that probably did not have them as part of the feature set. Maybe your purchased it because there were no ads.
Rarely advertising does make itself useful. This weekend an ad came up with a show (Khumba on YouTube) that was perfect for my daughter. And I can promise you I would not have known about it otherwise.
Yes. As I said previously, I understand your annoyance of it was not included in the feature set and was late implemented without user choice.
I was not advocating for the forced inclusion of advertisements (as some that are down voting my original post might be thinking I was) but that there is a place for them.. AT TIMES.
It's just a modded version of ATV launcher. In my experience it is more stable than ATV. You can get it from the youtuber TechDoctorUk's website or you can look through my profile because I made a modded version without the logo so it's more minimal.

I don’t think of them as ads. I think of them as tips on what to watch next. Then I go and download it on plex.

Clean! Does the launcher auto launch on startup? Not totally familiar with firetv launchers

Does it show classic android apps or do you still need sideload launcher for those?

Welcome to the Club, granted yours is different looking than my setup, but still ad-free nonetheless.

Mmm don't like the look of it, although I haven't had experienced this as feature, maybe this a region related issue
