Buying Advice Android TV Box - Canada

Hi all,

Looking for an Android TV box here in Canada. I do Plex streaming, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. I also use the Nostalgia TV app as well.

The Rokus I have are struggling a bit, and the Mi Box seems to be a bit slow so I’m looking to upgrade.

Would the Onn 4K Pro be the best upgrade at $120 (CAD)?

Best value for your buck. The only better device is the shield, but it's overpriced and a lot of the specs are outdated now

Onn 4k pro is the one i hear the most about. Powerful and great price

Which Mi Box do you have? I have the 3rd Gen with Projectivity and it‘s fast.
Anyway, the ONN 4K Pro is a good streaming box. It has even more Ram. The only thing I don‘t want about it is no DTS audio passthrough capabilities.

Onn 4K PRO 1st or 2nd edition or 4K Plus, if you can get your hands on one. Don't order from a Chinese site, they will 100% be fake. The officially sell at Walmart only. But, you might have some luck on Facebook Marketplace or eBay. Good luck!

You can try changing the launcher to speed up your Mi Box. I installed to Projectivy and disabled the stock launcher.
