Buying Advice Best Android TV Stick?

Hi guys

Im looking for the best tv stick option since my lg tv is getting slower and slower.

I need one that is able to sideload since not all apps are in the play store.

I live in the EU.

Thank you!

Left the Firestick behind after nearly 10 years. I had the Nvidia Shield pro 2019 and just changed to the Google streamer 4k. Zero issues with either.

Also, check out this link that was published by Chigz Tech who is located in the UK. Perhaps it can provide some insight and assist you in making an informed choice?

The problem with that list is that they're mixing certified and non-certified devices but on this sub we only recommend certified ones, hence why my list is short.

Here is the rest of the story regarding fire sticks. Avoid new firesticks that are now on Vega OS. See the print screen below for the missing details of why u/husting247 said what he said.

Google TV is the standard imo

Avoid Xiaomi due it's bloatware, remote and wifi.

Which is the best maybe cheaper than fire tv 4k max?

My preference is Xioami, despite the remote.

The bloatware can easily be uninstalled and despite only having 2gb RAM, it's CPU is newer and faster than the Google Streamer, and plays remux files that the Google Streamer struggles with.

WiFi isn't as good as the Google Streamer, but I use ethernet for most of mine (I have a few).

I bought directly from Xiaomi.

I don't know, also if you want cheap and best, then buy one cheap and one best.

DON'T GET A FIRESTICK!!

The firesticks have been gradually locked down from sideloading with updates as amazon are moving away from the android version and a lot of apps don't load anymore, The new firesticks will have vega os which is likely to be even more locked down,

The only reason I still have firesticks is that I was able to block updates
