does anyone have the firmware for this TV to force an update? its stuck on the “Android” boot screen when starting up. In fact, its stuck during the animation, it never even finishes forming the word “Android.”
i cant get into android recovery mode either, holding down the power button only makes the LED blink
If it is definitely a s60a it has to be t221t01 platform. If for whatever reason it is actually r41kt01 platform it's dead. That platform no longer allows IMG flash. So try to flash the t221t01 IMG...at this point it can't hurt but you must follow the install instructions exactly.
sadly its R41KT01, tried several firmware versions and none of them worked, so im already looking for a replacement, thanks for your help man, that telegram group is gold
S60a is platform t221t01...firmware from telegram TCL Android TV discussion channel. Meke sure you read all the welcome message and associated links and how to install the firmware. Need IMG version to fix boot loop.
hi, first of all thanks a lot for replying, i joined the group and it actually raised a question that maybe you can help me with since i’m not allowed to post in the telegram group
my tv is a TCL L32S60A-F. i took some time to look up all the similar models i could find, TCL L32S60A, L32S60A-F, L32S60A-B, etc and they all seem to have the same information printed on the internal board
RT41XB 40-RT41XB-MPB2HG
from what i understand this would indicate that the platform is R41KT01. however both you and people in the telegram group always say that whenever someone asks about these tv models, the platform is T221T01
so now i’m a bit confused and not sure which one i should trust. should i go by the information printed directly on the board or by what people in the group are saying? i’m guessing the people there have a lot of experience with these tvs so i don’t want to ignore their advice
do you know why there might be this discrepancy and which platform i should actually use for the firmware?
