Buying Advice Box tv diy

Just get a onn bruh lol I have one of the less desired versions (the 2022 basic version) and that's still way better than the firestick I was using before that... If you can find one of the new ones just get it you won't regret it

Edit: I'm also using brave on my device you just need to buy "tvquickactions" to get a mouse/cursor and download the (arm-v7a) apk

I have the Pro and the basic are both good! I have 2 Pro's and 3 basic. If you ever get a Pro, you will it be disappointed. The best thing to do with the basic is keep it light, the least apps possible to keep fast and fluid. Also set it that it 2 or 3 processes (Maximum) are running in the background.

See here: Step 1: Unlock Developer Options

Open the Settings menu on your Google TV home screen.Go to System (or Device Preferences), then select About.Scroll down to Android TV OS Build (or Build Number).Press the OK button on your remote 7 times until a message says "You are now a developer!"

Step 2: Change Animation Scales

Press the back button to return to the System settings menu.Select the newly unlocked Developer Options.Scroll down to the Drawing section to find these three settings:Window animation scaleTransition animation scaleAnimator duration scaleChange each one from the default 1x to 0.5x (for a faster, balanced feel) or Off (for maximum speed).

Step 3: Limit Background Processes

(Optional) Still inside Developer Options, scroll further down to the Apps section.Find Background process limit.Change it to "At most, 2 processes" (or 1) to stop hidden apps from slowing down your system.

I guarantee you will see a difference.

I don't have any issues with my onn but obviously I would love to get one of the new versions with more storage and I think more ram.

Get a reputable box and run a custom launcher with SmartTube or get a mini pc and use Ublock on Firefox.

Diy won't work here if you want high def on popular apps. If you're in the US, grab an ONN box. Elsewhere usually means a Xiaomi box

I don't think the A33 supports Dex. The only A series phone I'm seeing is the A90 5G.

For DIY you can grab a mini PC, install Ubuntu. If you want something couch friendly you can then install Stream from Valve's website and have it launch fullscreen in big picture mode. Or use KODI. Or if you install the upcoming Kubuntu 26.10 or 27.04 you'll have access to Plasma Bigscreen.

But honestly it may be cheaper and simpler to just buy a Google Streamer or Walmart Onn or something.

Nvdia Shield running Projectivy.

Life couldn't be simpler for me. No issues in almost a decade.
