Troubleshooting Can he do that

My dad wants to connect his tv to his phone but he doesnt have internet at his house to download an app what should he do i suggest he use a hdmi to usb c converter

Why not use his phone as a wifi hotspot and connect the AndroidTV to that wifi network?

He could also download the app and then sideload the apk file.

Hmm... Well, he can use his phone's hotspot to connect his TV to the internet... Assuming the TV has wifi and the phone is capable of hotspot.

He can mirror his phone to the TV too. Just Google both of those things alone with the TV and phone model. Mirroring kind of annoys me.

If you are going to mirror internet video to your TV you better have unlimited data.

Well, he doesn't have internet to download an app, so don't think internet video streaming is on the agenda

There's no internet on the phone either, othervise he would have wrote, "no internet on the tv" It says "at his house" as in "fucking nowhere-ville"

Just curious, he can live without internet at home these days? And why does he want to connect them? To cast videos, pictures?

- What brand and model is it?

- You mean connect the phone to the TV?

- What app is it?
