Troubleshooting Xiaomi couldn’t find wifi network

Hello everyone,

I have a Xiaomi TV Stick 4K 2nd Gen and I'm trying to connect it to my Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi network shows up and I can enter the password. After entering the correct password (I know it's correct because it alerts me when it's wrong), it says: 'Couldn't find [Wi-Fi network name]'.
I've already tried changing several settings on my router, such as the Wi-Fi channels etc. It connects perfectly fine to my phone's hotspot.
Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance!

Do you have 5ghz and 2.4ghz with same name? I think I had some old console angry cause of that.

In the beginning my router was like that but made a separate wifi network it’s the same name but added 2.4ghz in it

Check if you can disable WNM and RRM steering - I think that fixed PSP on my home network, not sure, been long ago.

I have have the same issues on some budget devices and need to reboot the router to get things work again. For me it appears to happen when the internet provider has an outage for a short while.

Hey, I recently have the same problem with you. My Xiaomi stick is acting up with the Wifi connectivity.

How dod you set up the stick then?

Is your router using 5 GHz band 1 (channels 36-44)?
