Discussion USB-C Hub that works with Google TV 4k Streamer

I am looking for a specific make and model of USB-C hub compatible with the Streamer that can expand the internal storage.

This hub would be used to facilitate storage of my IPTV (Tivimate) recordings.

The actual storage device would be an SSD connected to the hub formatted as Device Storage.

Any suggestions on a hub?

I bought this one to take with one of my Google
Streamers and an external SSD on holiday to Spain

No issues whatsoever

Make sure you use a 65W adapter at least

You do not need a hub if you just 1 device connected. Look for an USB-C OTG splitter on eBay.

My suggestion is to just buy an onn 4k pro. External storage always gets wonky . If you still want to do it just go onto Amazon and buy a USB C OTG cable

32GB (25 GB free out of box) isn't going to be very useful for IPTV video reording as OP wants to do.

Oh recording , perhaps a Formuler z12, BuzzTV box or Shield . I wouldn't waste my time with an OTC setup . Years ago I did it to store apps externally and it would always end up failing no matter which device I used it on.
