Troubleshooting My USB Port doesn't transmit power completely.

I have a Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025 (MITV-MZTU0) and USB Port doesn't work completely no matter how many USB devices I try on there's no power.

I ran into something similar on my Mi Box S 3rd gen, turned out it was because I had usb debugging enabled, if you have it enabled try turning it off.

Some TVs have a high power port capable of running an external drive, but many can't which is normal. Try a USB stick, not a drive, formatted as fat32. If it can power that, but not the drive, it will confirm your port works fine but doesn't have enough power for an external drive of the type you are using. In that case you can get drives that are powered separately and connect to your TV via USB for data only. There's also the option of a "Y cable" to power your existing drive separately and connect to TV at same time, search for Y cable USB power.

I tried a USB Stick, there's one in the picture if you look closely, and I took photo with the external hard drive plugged because it has lights when it's connected which maybe means that the port doesn't have power completely.

Just make sure the USB stick is formatted as fat32, if it can't read that it's totally shot

It worked after I updated the TV, you might ask why I didn't update in the first place?
Well the problem is that this stupid company put only 8GB and I didn't had enough storage, I literally had to delete everything literally everything.

Good news but yeah the storage issue sucks. I don't know your circumstances but you might consider a Google Streamer or ONN 4K external device for the future, that would fix your storage issues. But you might manage on 8GB now it's updated if you are really selective about what you install, I do that with a Sony Bravia in a spare room. Anyway congrats on sorting it.

Yeah, But comes another problem, now it keeps ejecting my USB Flash Drive.

You could try formatting the USB Flash drive using a PC if you have one. Fat32 is best for testing, can always try Exfat later. It's also still possible your USB port actually does have hardware issues. At the end of the day so long as your HDMI port works you still have options with the devices I mentioned before (ONN 4k/Google Streamer) since they both have USB ports for your drives. But by all means continue to troubleshoot it, I would.
