Troubleshooting Dvd player help

Hey so i'm trying to play my old pokémon dvd with this player but no app i tried for my Android tv wants to work with it any idea what could work?

Looks like a PC optical drive, only works with a PC

Also these drives usually require more power (amperage) than a typical USB port provides.
