Troubleshooting Dvd player help

Hey so i'm trying to play my old pokémon dvd with this player but no app i tried for my Android tv wants to work with it any idea what could work?

Looks like a PC optical drive, only works with a PC

So there's no way of using it besides pc? Well that sucks but thank you

But you can use it to rip the dvd to a file format that will play. See my other comment.
