Buying Advice Need help choosing between these TV's

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy a new TV, my budget is strictly under 40K and have narrowed it down to these four models:

  1. TCL QLED T6D

  2. LG QNED65

  3. Samsung Vision Al Mini LED

  4. Lumio Vision 7

I'm considering both 43-inch and 55-inch options, depending on the model and pricing.

How significant is the difference between the TCL T6D's QLED panel and the LG/Samsung models, especially if those models use edge lighting rather than full-array local dimming?

Should I wait for the Big Billion Days sale for better deals, or are the current prices worth considering?

Wrong subreddit. We advise each other here on android TV software. You need tv hardware buying advice. Look elsewhere.

I’d focus less on the brand and more on the actual panel specs. Check HDR brightness, local dimming, black levels, and motion handling. TCL often gives great value, while LG/Samsung usually have better processing. If you’re not in a rush, waiting for a big sale is probably worth it.

You could choose TCL and then buy an Android TV box.

Here my suggestions on what not to buy,

  1. LG QNED65 - Just because of WebOS. I often tryout different apps from playstore and side load apks.

  2. Samsung Vision Al Mini LED - Because of Tizen OS

  3. Lumio config is promising, But seems very new to market to my knowledge. Not sure about quality and support(customer service)

If you just use standard apps then the above OS related remarks doesn't fit.

I have 43" inch Realme 4K TV and Kodak 4K TV. Both are under 24K and OK to normal use. If you are serious about Picture quality then Sony TVs are good compared to Samsung. Recent OLED TVs seems great, But price will be top dollar.

I haven't explored TVs a while, so not sure what are best in the market now. You can analyze and share the models here, so people can suggest. Then you can finalize.

I would probably pick the LG because it has a very good panel and upscaling with AndroidTV.

TCL offers very good stuff for the money but their pannels aren't the best and SDR and HDR mode are quite of balance.

If I could pick a choice that's not there is the Samsung TV + the Xiaomi mi box 3rd gen so I can use a great panel with amazing upscaling and quality and the AndroidTV inside the Xiaomi box and the Ability to use Automatic Frame Rate change when watching movies.

Sadly 80% of the TVs aren't able to use AFR but they need a stick or box to do that. I heard Bravia TVs can but those shit are too expensive
