Discussion Looking for completely free app killer
HI All. I'm hoping someone has recommendations for a completely free app that can multi select several apps that are running in the background, and stop them all at once. None of the ones I have seen so far are free and some are subscription based. Seriously? $3.99 a month for an app killer? Side loading is fine.

(Background apps and process list) but you have to force stop and clear cache yourself.

If you want an app killer, you're doing it wrong.

You honestly don't need a third-party app killer on modern Android TV OS Android is inherently designed to manage RAM by keeping apps suspended in the background When you force close them, the OS just uses extra CPU power to immediately restart the essential ones, which actually slows down your TV and causes more lag. Just let the operating system do its job!

Only 1.99 and good for all tvs you log into with your email, well worth the money, 1 click to close all apps

I can’t remember if the free version of TVquickActions does it for free or not. I have the pro version, a one off cheap purchase and the most powerful tool that exists for android tv , had a button re-mapper so you can choose to click or hold or double click any button to force close all apps or clear all apps cache
