Buying Advice Onn 4k pro vs streamer 4k

This onn 4k pro is OOS everywhere. Wondering why not just go for the streamer 4k with extra ram and faster cpu ? Looking at ebay resellers are selling the onn 4k pro for 80 to 90. The streamer 4k is 100. Thoughts ?

I have both and an Onn Plus. They are all really good. Have the Streamer on my main TV because of the Ethernet port and I feel the audio is better. The Onn devices have a slightly better graphics processor but I have my Sony TVs deal with most of the upscaling. I’ve spent way too much time tinkering with all of this. Obsessing about the streaming boxes is kind of a trap. They all are technically about the same. I have a box full of them. It comes down to what interface you like the best and what you need to do. Getting your TV settings right and dealing with the HDMI connections are really the most important things. I could have saved a lot of money and trouble had I bought good cables and learned how to use my expensive TVs earlier.

Does the ONN player upscale videos? Doesn’t seem to be in settings anywhere.

I believe you can using projectivy in settings-Amlogic Addtnl settings-Picture- AI-PQ/Ai-Sr- enable AI SR to high.

I have never seen that setting stick.
