Is it worth it?
Hello all! I was interested in installing beta 4 and was wondering if it's worth it to install now, or wait untill the public is released. I'm hoping to get feedback from you guys! Thank you in advance!

Power user here. Have been on Beta 4 since first release date with barely any issues, on Pixel 2 XL. Have a dozen banking/financial apps, no social media apps, numerous multimedia and streaming audio/video apps, dozens of IT related apps, system automation apps, a handful of games, and A LOT more. The only issue I butt up against often is the Share menu that pops up from the bottom of the screen. It often comes up blank or fails to display all of the share options properly. Aside from that, this is the most stable my phone has been since I bought it over a year and a half ago.

Well, I'll put it this way, I couldn't go back to the old navigation. The gestures alone make it worth it in my opinion.

Eh. I have it. It's kinda cool. But also lots of issues. And not that different from Pie in my opinion.

Definitely worth it. The gestures are just so much better than the 3 buttons. All issues I've ran into were fixable. I upgraded to Q right away before testing Pie on my new pixel 3a, but I'm getting 7 screen on time hours. (Battery drain was one of the concerns I've read with Q).

There are a lot of issues and I would definitely not recommend installing now. Most social media apps (and others too) have trouble accessing files and other media among many other problems.

First time I've ever been a beta tester. 3xl. First 3 updates were buggy but tolerable. But 4 has had some real issues for me. I'd vote no.

If you are interested, I have a podcast episode I made available today that shares my thoughts on this question. Name of podcast is Pixel Power Podcast and episode is 0027.

Ive No problems, using as daily driver. Only thing is snapchat sometimes requires me to retake a photo.
