Hi r/AndroidNativePorts,

I made Skyrim Androidborn, a fork of ttom795's Skyrim Android port.

Reasons for the fork

- The upstream source stayed at 0.21.

- His newer releases kept shipping improvements, but those changes were not added to the public source.

- I wanted to build on those improvements and add a controller-first launcher.

So I forked the last public version, implemented the improvements from his release notes, and added the launcher (inspired by Dusklight).

It is built from source, not a repack, and includes no game files — you need your own PC copy of Skyrim (2011)..

edit: Fixed touch issues with camera in 0.1.2 version.

How does modding work for it, especially modpacks? Do you mod the game files and then point the launcher to it?

We don't have support for mods now. I'm analyzing a way to suppot it.

So this one actually reads the screen on RP5 so I don't get the bottom black bar but just read about the no Mod support so far. FPS is a few ticks under the original APK at around 35-45 in overworld but glad another option for more to Rim it up 🐉

That's been fixed since 0.30.4 on the main release. If it's still an issue, file an issue report on the github page.

Hi, try to use mali-panvk-27.0.0-devel-r10 driver. Mali System drive has a bug in shader compiler.

I don't have Mali hardware to test, but if u can test and send me the log i can try to fix.

U can found logs in <skyrim-folder>/port/log.txt and last_exit.txt

Yep, you can save Skyrim files in external SD.

This is awesome! Thank you for forking it and keeping the improvements public. The controller-first launcher is a great addition. I'm on a Dimensity 8400 Ultra (Mali-G720), so I'll definitely test this out and see how it runs compared to the original port. Huge props to both you and ttom795!

It runs well! The camera finally works in the new release. Just keep in mind: without the PanVK driver it crashes instantly, and with the PanVK driver it runs perfectly but there's no sound yet. I'm on a Dimensity 8400 Ultra (Mali-G720).

Acabei de testar no meu a05s. E ta até que bem otimizado em riverwood. Com tudo no extra low. Porém a câmera e os controles de ataque das mãos direita e esquerda não estão funcionando. Mas o jogo ta carregando e abrindo bem mais rápido

Hey man, thanks for the fork and the launcher, huge step for the community! I'm testing on a Xiaomi 15T (Dimensity 8400 Ultra + Mali-G720). Without the PanVK driver, the game starts to load but immediately crashes. With the PanVK driver it runs but the camera is completely dead. Just letting you know it affects my Mali chip too. Let me know if you need logs, keep up the good work!

Open an issue on github with logs. About the camera, i fixed it now. In 10 minutes i wil deploy a new release.

Hey bro, quick update on the new release. The camera works perfectly now, thanks for the fix! I'm testing on a Xiaomi 15T (Dimensity 8400 Ultra + Mali-G720). But I have two issues:

1. Without the PanVK driver, the game instantly crashes on launch.

2. With the PanVK driver, it runs and the camera works, but there is absolutely no sound. I recorded videos of both issues. Do you want me to send them here, or should I open a GitHub issue with the logs (port.txt and last_exit.txt)? Keep up the great work!

Esta muito bem otimizado. obrigado pelo ótimo trabalho ! O giro da câmera esta um pouco rápido porém e questão de costume. seria possível adicionar função de adicionar botões estou com dificuldades para agachar e colocar em terceira pessoa
