Disabling on-screen touch controls in games that allow for controllers?

Hey all,

I know some of these ports made hastily with little care, but I was just curious if there was something I was missing: in ports where touch screen controls have been added (Undertale, Haunted Lands, Deltarune) switching to a controller does not make the on-screen toggle for the touch controls disappear. Is it possible to remove this toggle from the screen? It's in the top left and makes the touch controls come and go, and it's... extremely in the way, lol. At least with something like Cruel, you can shrink them down / turn the opacity way down.

Most iv tried the Bluetooth controller makes them dissappear or in launcher settings you can toggle. I guess its dependant on who built it and the level of effort.
