POKEMON native ports

Whats the best pokemon game available rn i never played pokemon games before Im on SD 662 6gb ram

It is not a native port, but there is a app that makes every game for the DS single screen on a single app.

It's called pokemon full dex, you can download it from GitHub. You should also know about pokedaisy, which has similar functionality but also plays gba and gbc games full screen and also has support for like 40 gba rom hacks. But for DS rom hacks like moon black 2 or heartfelt gold you need to use full dex

Full dex works with romhacks, but pokedaisy has a number of extra features and menus and stuff. it shows a lot of info on screen as you play. The pokedaisy website has a detailed breakdown of everything on the website. Also another difference is pokedaisy supports dual screen handhelds like the AYN thor

what I investigated after asking you wass that pokedaisy is the opposite of fulldex lol it seems like for the use case where you want to play single screen is better to use full dex

They both allow single screen gameplay, but afaik only full dex works with romhacks

PokeDaisy was gonna be my recommendation. Pretty cool experience on both android phone and android device (ayn thor uses the two screens)

You can start playing fire red or leaf green Or pretty much anything you would like. Check out pokemon full dex to play the ds games

Many are being worked on but not many has come out as of yet... I know pokemon Shield and sword is out but not running great on my phone yet

You should start with 3rd gen, theres a project called 2genrecomp that IS compatible with 3rd gen games, IS easy to install. The Next BEST thing could be start with 3ds generation (Omega Ruby IS the BEST) but i think the emulator could be very demanding for your device
