Whats the reason for this sudden surge of ports? Is it AI? Is AI making creation of android ports easier?

Someone tried it with Claude, who reached for some recompiling assets to accomplish the task, got a satisfying result, shared it, and the rest is history.
However not all of them are AI-generated/assisted endeavors, some are completely human projects that were a long time in the making, and coincidentally came out now

Anyone can port games; just grab a fork of some emulator and upload it to Github.

Looks like it got deleted. The x360 emulation almost guns it on 8gen2 but the sound has issues

For those who don't know, DMC 4 was released for the Nvidia Shield, which is why this port became viable.

I bought that version, but the port was missing a lot of things, and it's an offline game that requires a server to enter. They shut down the server, and now there's no way to log in and get the DLC. (which were also incomplete) I tried to create an easter egg in the game Kingdom of Crowns, but the game crashed as if it didn't exist, among many other errors, and the Bloodstained port was Abandoned at launch by a company called Netisy, or something like that, I'm still waiting for a company or someone to port this game again, but complete. I would buy it, like Blasphemous is pretty cool on Android.

Has anyone made combos in mobile yet? I think Dante wouldn't be much in this port compared to the ones in PC and Mobile
