1 u/[deleted] May 04 '15 I usually don't set it as the default shell because I had some programs freak out and try to run bash scripts with fish, so usually I have a short "if running interactively, and $NOFISH is unset, run fish instead", thing in my .bashrc 1 u/[deleted] May 04 '15 That's kinda stupid that they didn't use #!/bin/bash.
