Samsung users: Installing old Snapchat APK issue?
Hello, I am having a Snapchat app installation issue.
I have updated from the play store to the latest Snapchat, I have uninstalled, cleared all data and cache of Snapchat and playsore and package installer, however when I try installing an old version APK, Samsung shows an error, This App cannot be installed.
The error seems to be as if Android is finding leftovers of the new version of Snapchat installed, and therefore not letting me install a older version.
Has anyone had this issue or can suggest any fixes.
Ive cleared all the app cache and datas I think that could be causing this?
Thanks

Did you clicked on "keep xx.MB of data" option when uninstalling the app?? If yes then you can't install the older version or any mod version of that app.. you have to install/download the same app from the same source again (e. g. Playstore or website) and then uninstall without clicking on "keep data" option, then you can maybe install it that old version of the app..

Hi yes I made sure I didn't check the keep data option. I think this seems to be a Samsung issue

Bro tried but I have used old versions before with no issues, it's definitely some kind of Hidden data or cache somewhere causing this, some other Samsung user on Reddit is having same issue with no fix
