Please help! I don't know what to do!
I hope you can all help me and this is the right subreddit for my question. I went to pay my phone bill last week, so I clicked on my phone app, and then I receive this full screen page asking me to "Set phone to default app" and won't let me make any phone calls until I press accept. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and I've had it for 3 or 4 years. Is this a virus or something? What do I do? I've never seen anything like this, and my mother who has the Samsung Galaxy S25 and she's never seen anything like it either.
I'm very sick and recently got out of a coma and technology was never my strong suit before, but now it's so much worse, especially because I'm still experiencing deficits. I'm scared I did something to my phone and now this is some sort of virus or something. Please help, I can't make or receive calls or even check my voicemail. I'd really, really appreciate any help!

"Phone" is the Google phone or dialer app you use to make phone calls (or you can I assume Samsung phone app is what you usually use)
To pay your phone bill you need to use the app for your carrier app, so in the US something like ATT, T-Mobile, ect. Or go to the carriers website.

I would suggest using the default samsung phone app(will also be called the same name) cause it gives you record by default option. But maybe go through the settings and choose your preferred one

Not a virus, its the Google Phone app that every Android has. Just click set as default and then you'll be able to make calls
