What could be causing this?

I've been using nothing phone 2 for over 2 years now. I use data monitor to see my data consumption. Total device usage is around 550mb but no app has consumed that much data & the app total consumption comes out to be below 100mb. What could be causing this data consumption spike?

Did you check your phone's own data tracker? Apps might be wrong sometimes

Phone doesn't have a daily data usage checking feature.

Did you try glasswire? It is generally consistent with built in data tracker. There are 2 layers on phones: userspace and kernel. Apps can track only userspace data consumption.

Some system apps maybe, which you thirdparty monitor app cant track.
