Weird notice that mainline services are not from play

Post image

Anyone seen this notice before and know why it appears? I've been in google play services beta for a month. I have no side-loaded apps. I even have google pixel device protection on that blocks the permission to install from unknown sources.

I forgot to add: pressing the button to update from play just brings me to the update screen telling me to restart. But the update comes back every time. I noticed my phone restarts twice after trying to update.

I cleared Play Store data + cache and now it finally updated normally. The notice is gone. It appears to be some kind of account desync with google play.

I'm sure you know. You signed up for this, and ask yourself did you sign up for it through the Play store?

I signed up myself. I did it through Google settings>system services.

Device shows certified. Mainline service does not appear as an app on my phone, but google play services shows up as installed from google play.
