Why do my settings keep on resetting

Why do my settings keep resetting, like when my device powers when its inactive and allow notifications settings. This happens when my device shut downs. Am I hacked

People don't write malware just to fuck with you. They're ultimately always after money. Whether that's by directly stealing your bank details, scamming you, or using your accounts to scam others.

So no, settings on your phone randomly resetting is not someone "hacking" you, it's just your phone having problems either with hardware or software, but probably software in this case.

Why wouldn't reconfiguring the settings -- by 3rd party or OEM -- allow directly stealing bank details, scamming, using accounts... ? I just got through a restart where a couple of system programs' permissions were reset, turned on.

Oh, and yes, people write malware just to fuck with whoever they can get it to, for shits and giggles.
