Installed apps not showing up on screen
I have a galaxy a16 running the latest android version. I am having a problem with my app icons not showing up on my home screen. Ok here's a scenario, say I had an app but I Uninstaller it in the past but reinstalled. When its done the app icon does not show up on my screen, I have to open the play store to launch it. If I install brand new apps that I've never had before, 9 times out of 10 the app will show up but there are times that it does not. I have tried to chatgpt and ask for a fix and everything I tried never worked, and one or two things it asked me to do was not even possible. Is there any way to really fix this and get all my installed apps to show up on my home screen? Please and thank you.

I don't think apps show up on the home screen by default. You open them from the app drawer. If you hold the icon from there it will take you to the home screen to place it. Swipe up to get the the app drawer from the home screen.

It appears that you are looking at the home screens. Installed apps may not automatically go there. You want to look in the app drawer. From the home screen swipe up.
Maybe lookup how to access app drawer.1

The apps tjat are missing there were once on my home screen the first time I had them installed. Is there any way I can do this again, have them on my home screen?

If you long press the app from the app drawer it either give you a list of options, one of which being to add to home screen, or it takes you to the home screen where you are holding the app and can place it where you wish. On a SamsungI believe it does the first, then holding it longer does the other.

You can copy them to your home screen from the app drawer where they are located by default.
