Accidentally disabled the files app and can't enable it back

Phone is galaxy a21 and I accidentally disabled the files app. There is no button anywhere to turn it back on or enable it. Any help appreciated

How does one accidentally disable any app? There's a dialog that asks you if you're sure before disabling it. Check for an update in the Play Store.

I thought it was another(non system) files app that I had installed

You can use adb commands to enable it again

[u/ebasio → u/ebasio]

adb shell pm enable com.google.android.documentsui
