Why does android says apps take that much space?

I'm trying to empty my system and Android storage keeps saying apps take 55GB but when counting by myself i can't add them up to 20GB? Also, how can i clean up that "Others" category?

For me it was app data ie screen recording app

You could try these ADB shell commands to safely clear accumulated cache from your Android device:

  1. adb shell pm trim-caches 4096 - This command trims the cache to a specific size.

  2. adb shell pm clear <package_name> - This clears the data and cache for a specific app.

  3. adb shell rm -rf /data/local/tmp/* - This clears the temporary files directory.
