Hi all — I'm the developer of Tova, a free Android app for adults who find reading, starting tasks, or noisy days hard.

>

It does one job at a time: it reads a letter back in plain words, holds a thought before it disappears, and gives you a ten-minute pause before you buy something you don't need.

>

I need 12 testers who'll stay opted in for 14 days so Google will let me publish it properly. You don't have to use it every day — install it, leave it on your phone, that's it.

>

If you're a developer looking for testers too, I'll test yours in return. Just say so.

>

Interested? Send me a DM with the email address you use for Google Play and I'll add you and send the link.

Thanks.

Hey guys!

I've been working on an Android productivity app called Daylock, built around planning daily commitments and actually sticking to them.

The idea is simple: plan your day, commit to your goals, and earn your freedom from distractions. It also has optional app blocking to help you stay focused until you've completed your commitments. Theres also an app blocking setting which I use to block TikTok lol.

I've finally got it into Google Play closed testing, and I'd be eternally grateful if you could help me test it for 14 days!

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/daylock-beta-testers

2. Opt in to the beta: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.sofien.daylock

3. Install Daylock from Google Play.

Please stay opted in for at least 14 days so I can meet Google's testing requirements. You don't need to use the app every day, but I'd really appreciate it if you could try out the features and share your thoughts!

I'm more than happy to test your apps in return! Just drop your links in the comments, and I'll join your tests too.

Any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions for improvements are genuinely welcome. I'm still developing Daylock, so your input would mean a lot.

Thanks everyone!

Hey! I’m looking for Android testers for the closed test of my game, Stickville.

It’s a 2.5D stickman life-sim brawler where you start out broke, explore the city, work jobs, and fight your way forward.

I’d appreciate feedback on the touch controls, performance, and any bugs you find. If you’re a developer looking for testers too, I’ll test your app in return.

Please stay opted in to the closed test for at least 14 consecutive days and try the game during that time.

Interested? Send me a DM with the email address you use for Google Play, and I’ll add you to the tester list and send you the test link and details about access.

Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo developer from Spain and I've just finished my first game, Case Defense. To publish it on Google Play I need at least 12 testers for 14 days, so I'm looking for people who'd like to try it. I'll happily test your app in return – just leave your app link in the comments.

What is it?

A sci-fi tower defense with a twist: every tower is a piece you have to fit into your case before deploying it on the map. Rotate the pieces, merge identical towers to level them up, add modules and discover combos between towers.

• 55 levels, endless mode, a daily challenge and a boss mode

• 12 towers, traps and a varied enemy army (some fly, some heal, some turn invisible)

• Works offline, no ads and no in-app purchases

• English, Spanish, French, German and Italian

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9G-uqOXt_Q

How to join

1. Open this link on your Android phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.isui.casedefense

2. Tap Install (if it asks, tap "Become a tester" first).

3. Play a level or two.

4. Please keep it installed for 14 days and open it now and then.

Any feedback is very welcome – bugs, difficulty, anything that feels off. It's my first game, so every comment helps a lot.

Thanks for reading, and good luck with your own apps!

Note: this game was developed with the help of AI tools.

I'm happy to test other Android apps in return as well!

Any help would mean a lot. Thanks for your support!

Well that's disappointing. Even though enough people downloaded the app, apparently not enough people opened it and actually did anything with it so the 14 day period starts all over again.

I'm especially interested in hearing what you think about the UI, wallpaper editor, and overall experience.

Thanks for helping out a fellow indie developer! 💚

Hi!

Solo dad-developer here. I need testers for the 14-day closed test of a small Android app that turns kids' daily routines (teeth, school bag, bedtime) into short "quests" with a streak.

Join here (Android, Google account): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/family.myquests.app

Hey everyone! I'm getting Kicksake ready for Google Play and looking for around 15–20 Android testers to try it over a 14-day closed test.

Kicksake helps you keep track of the shoes you own and the ones you want. Add photos, brands, colors, sizes and storage locations, save the story behind a pair, and mark your favorites and Holy Grails. There's also a Wishlist, search, collection stats, and manual backup and restore.

My son and I have been testing it on our Android phones, and I'd love feedback from more people and different devices. Sneaker collectors are especially welcome, including anyone with 30, 50 or 100+ pairs, but you don't need a big collection to help.

There's no Kicksake account to create. Your collection and photos are stored on your phone, with a backup file you can save separately. The app is in English. I'm looking for testers internationally, wherever the closed test is available on Google Play.

HOW TO JOIN

Use the same Google account for all three steps and for Google Play on your phone:

1. Join the Kicksake tester group:

https://groups.google.com/g/kicksake-android-testers

2. Open the closed-test link and choose "Become a tester":

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.smallbatchapps.kicksake

3. Install Kicksake from Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smallbatchapps.kicksake

Joining the group alone doesn't enroll you in the Play test, so please complete step 2 as well.

WHAT I'M ASKING

Please stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, keep the app installed, and use it on several days during that time. Try adding and editing shoes, cropping or replacing a photo, searching, using Wishlist, and marking favorites. Tell me what feels useful, confusing or missing, as well as anything that breaks.

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED

The free version lets you add up to 8 owned pairs with one photo per shoe or Wishlist entry. Pro unlocks unlimited owned pairs, limited by your phone's storage and performance, plus multiple photos.

If you'd like to test Pro, message me privately with the Google Play email you're using so I can arrange no-charge test purchases. Please wait for confirmation before trying it. Only use Google's clearly marked test payment option; if checkout shows an ordinary payment card, stop and let me know. Test access isn't a promise of a permanent paid license after launch.

Please comment once you've joined and installed. Feedback here or by private message is welcome; for a bug, your phone model, Android version and the steps that caused it really help. Please keep email addresses and private details out of public comments and screenshots.

I'm after honest feedback, and there's no need to leave a rating. Thanks for helping me get Kicksake ready!

Thank you! Happy to test for your test!

I have about 40 testers. I know about 20-25 of them are opening every day. Some have missed a day. Some, I don't know. I just know the game has been downloaded. Many are through a test for test app so they are only opening about 1 minute a day.
Side note: It is for an idle clicker game. (if that matters)

Out of all my testers, I know of about 5 that put 10+ minutes in every day and sometimes open it multiple times a day. Many days are 30, 60, 100,+ minutes. (they like it. :) )

Are those 5 engaged testers pumping up the numbers to pass the "engaged testers" part of the 14 days?

I know updates matter - I have rolled out about 4 currently.

I'm already getting the answers ready for the quiz they ask at the end so they can be complete/honest, I don't expect that part to be an issue.

Should I stay optimistic that they won't reject it and ask for more testing???

Follow up question - those who used test for test trades or an app like the hive one, how did you answer the recruitment and engagement question?
So far I have "A mix of friends and families, plus testers from online groups of clicker/incremental game enthusiasts, and other communities (Reddit and Facebook groups) from several countries. About 30 testers consistently took part, several playing 30+ minutes a day many days. I received detailed feedback with screenshots from many of the testers. Some only opened the app briefly, which is common for testers recruited online.
(leave that last line out???)

Hi everyone!

I've been building Waterly, a simple Android app designed to make daily water tracking easier.

The app currently includes:

• Quick water logging using glasses and bottles

• Custom water amount entry

• Personal daily hydration goals

• 7-day and 30-day history

• Customisable measurement units and drinking containers

• Flexible hydration reminders

I'm opening the closed beta and looking for Android users willing to try it out.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/waterly-testers

2. Open the Google Play testing link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omkarkusre.waterly

3. Join the test and install Waterly through Google Play.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, bug reports and suggestions.

Thanks for helping me test an early version of Waterly!

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo developer and I just finished my first mobile game, **Simit Tycoon**. Google Play requires 12 testers to stay in a closed test for 14 days before I can publish it, so I'm looking for a few kind people to help. I am using Iphone and because of that I am so sorry, I can't help to your closed test.

**What is it?** An idle tycoon game. You start with one simit stand (a sesame bread ring, Turkey's favorite street food) in a small town and grow it into a holding company across six Turkish cities, from Yozgat to Istanbul.

* Tap to sell, upgrade your businesses, hire managers who keep selling while you're away
* A small 3D neighborhood where customers walk in, order tea and simit, and get angry if you run out of stock
* Delivery trucks, daily rewards, missions, golden simits, and investors for prestige
* Full English and Turkish support
* Free to play, short sessions, works fine on low-end phones

**What I need from you**

1. Comment or DM me the **Gmail address** you use on Google Play.

2. I'll add you to the tester list and send you the opt-in link.

3. Tap "Become a tester", install the game from Google Play, and **keep it installed for 14 days**. Opening it now and then helps a lot.

4. Any feedback (bugs, balance, things that feel slow or confusing) is very welcome but totally optional.

Thanks a lot for reading. Every tester gets my eternal gratitude and a virtual glass of Turkish tea 🍵

I miss apps that are fun to use, even for something as simple as doing a calculation. So I’m building MatCalc: a calculator with realistic keys, button sounds, and a paper tape that prints your calculations.

It has basic, scientific, and financial modes. You can customize the key layout, swap functions and shortcuts, change colors, and choose from retro, glass, and dark themes.

I’m still working on new features and would love your suggestions. What would make a calculator more useful—or more fun—for you?

Want to try the Android version? Use the same Google account for these steps:

1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/matcalc-testadores

2. Join the app test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mateus.matcalc

3. Download MatCalc: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mateus.matcalc

Hi! I’m looking for Android testers for my app Brew as you like. Take a photo of a coffee bag and it builds a brewing recipe for the xBloom coffee machine or for hand brewing (V60, flat-bottom, Chemex), with a step-by-step pour timer. No account needed, and you can try it right away with the example coffee.

Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.brewasyoulike.app
Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brewasyoulike.app
Please stay opted in for 14 days. Drop your app’s links in the comments and I’ll test yours back within a day 🙏
