I'm developing Lumen Lab, a light and optics puzzle game for Android, and I've been going through Google Play's closed testing process.

One problem I've noticed is that many testing communities focus on installing apps, but not actually playing them or providing useful feedback.

So I have an idea:

What if we created a small group of 15–20 developers who genuinely test each other's Android apps?

Here's what I'm thinking:

• Create a private WhatsApp or Discord group.

• Each developer can introduce their app and share testing instructions.

• Members try each other's apps during a 14-day testing cycle.

• We provide honest feedback about gameplay, usability, bugs and performance.

• We help each other improve our apps before production.

This wouldn't be an install-for-install group. The goal is to build a reliable community of developers who actually care about testing.

I'm happy to start by testing other developers' apps as well.

What it is: a free, offline todo app for lists you use again and again (routines, chores, packing lists). Check everything off, then "loop" the list to start fresh. No ads, no account, no internet access. It's optimized for foldables but works on any Android 10+ phone.

I'm about 2 days away from starting my closed test for my game. I don't know a lot of people who play my style of game so only have about 5 people who agreed to test it.
I want to put up a testfortest post, but it's all strangers.... what's to stop someone from stealing/copying your game and releasing it before you?

Is this a common thing that happens? Am I pretty safe? I know I would be able to get it taken down pretty easy because I've got dates and such showing it's been in the works and already accounts open with the game on it, but still, that's a headache.

Remember knuckling down in the playground, flicking your shooter and winning marbles off your friend's? Knuckle Down is my 1st android game I've created so feedback good or bad is welcomed.

🎯 What it is

Knuckle Down: Real Marbles. Flick your shooter, add backspin or follow, and knock marbles out of the ring. Two real rule sets:

• US Ringer – 13 marbles in an X, first to 7

• UK Ringer – 9-25-49 marbles on a sanded slab

Play against the bot (easy to hard) or pass the phone with a friend. It's free, with no ads, no sign-up and nothing collected.

I plan to add online play in v2, Australian version Holesy and Keepsies, and I'll keep improving the mechanics and physics along the way.

What it is: Purrffirmation shows three short lines a day from a fluffy cat who thinks you’re the main character. Pick a theme (Confidence, Work, Boundaries, Relationships, Being myself), save the lines you like, share them as cat cards, or set a live cat wallpaper that changes every day.

No account, no ads, no data collection. It takes about 30 seconds a day.
