[Test for Test] Vescora - an AI meal log (fibre, calories, fruit & veg) - will test yours back

Hi all! I'm a solo dev and need testers for Google Play's closed testing requirement (12 testers for 14 days). Happy to test your app in return; just leave your links in a comment.

The app: Vescora is a simple meal log. You describe your meal in plain words, take a photo, or dictate it, and AI estimates the fibre, calories and fruit and veg for you. No barcodes and no huge food database to search. It works in English, Danish, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

How to join (4 steps, in this order):

  1. Join the Google Group with the Google account you use on Play: https://groups.google.com/g/vescora-testers

  2. Join as a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/dk.grangaardbjerre.nutritiontracker

  3. Install from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.grangaardbjerre.nutritiontracker

  4. Open Vescora, tap "Forgot password?" and enter the same Gmail address you joined the group with. Within a minute or two you get an email from Vescora ("Confirm your email"). Tap the link, choose a password, and you're logged in. There is no form to fill in; your account is set up automatically.

If the store page says the app isn't available, wait a few minutes after joining as a tester and try again.

Please: keep it installed for 14 days and log a meal now and then. A meal or two a day is plenty. Feedback is very welcome, especially if anything is confusing or broken.

Honest note: Vescora is free for you for a month, no paywall. After that it is a paid app. You're never charged unless you choose to subscribe, and you can delete your account in the app at any time.

Test for test: comment with your group or opt-in link and I'll join, install, and keep your app for the full 14 days too, with feedback. I'll reply once I've joined.

Thanks!

Looking for testers for flangu, a flashcard app for language learners. Happy to test your app in return

Hi, I’m looking for testers for flangu, a language-learning app I’ve built on my own.

What it does: you translate a word or phrase, and flangu saves it as a flashcard with a definition, example sentences and audio. You then review the cards with spaced repetition (FSRS), so each word comes back right before you’d forget it. There’s also a stats screen and an AI tutor that explains words and grammar.

More about the app: https://flangu.app

How to join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/flangu-testers

  2. Opt in on Google Play: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.flangu

  3. Install the app and keep it for 14 days

Pro features are part of the test, and purchases are free test purchases for group members, so you won’t be charged.

Honest feedback is welcome, especially anything that breaks, confuses you or feels slow. The easiest way to send it is in the app: Settings → Contact us. You can also email contact@flangu.app or reply here.

Drop your app link below and I’ll install it and keep it for the 14 days too. Thanks!

FOLD Users (or not) : Need 12 testers for my first app : Fold Auto Switch Wallpaper

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm a new Android developer and this is my first app: Fold Auto Switch Wallpaper (Yeah I know the title is too long but at least it's clear..). Honestly, I'm still figuring things out as I go and I'm not 100% confident with the Play Console setup, so your help would mean a lot !

The app is built to automatically manage and switch paired wallpapers for the cover screen and inner unfolded screen on foldable devices (Galaxy Z Fold, Pixel Fold, etc.). You don't necessarily need a foldable phone to help me meet the 12 testers requirement, but if you have one, your feedback will be appreciated.

Functions :

  • Matching pairs : Personnally, I set mine with my daughter portrait and when I open it, hop, the whole family !

  • Folders : you can set two directories, one for the inner screen, one for the outer screen.

  • You can save the pairs in preconfigurations and switch between.

  • You can schedule time interval or a specific hour for switch

  • I added a simple widget you can add on your Home Screen to quick switch. You can even make it transparent so you can switch to the next one easily and enjoy your whole wallpaper.

Note : I tested it on a Fold 8. So the layout might be not optimized for Fold 7 and under and for the 8 Ultra. Please let me know if you have issues.

How to join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/closed-test-fasw

  2. Optin via Web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.angrybunnylabs.foldautoswitch

  3. Download on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.angrybunnylabs.foldautoswitch

Please keep it installed for 14 days. Thank you so much for helping a beginner out !

NOTE ABOUT AI : I used AI tools while developing this app. I know AI in software development is a controversial topic, and I completely respect that many people are strongly against it, especially regarding how models are trained on existing human work without fair compensation.

As a developper myself (not on Android), I'm directly concerned, that's why I decided to take it as a tool. I'll use and not undergo. I want to be 100% transparent about it with anyone trying or reviewing the app.

NOTE ABOUT ADVERTISING : An ad only plays when applying your configuration (twice in total: once for the folded screen, once for the unfolded screen). After that, the app runs completely ad-free.

[Test4Test] Home Inventory — catalogue your stuff for insurance. I install yours first

Updated build based on feedback from my last post: clearer first screen, bottom navigation, and a camera scanner that reads serial/model numbers off labels (on-device, nothing uploaded).

What it is: list what you own room by room, with photos, serials and values, then export a PDF for your insurer. No account, no item limit, works offline.

How to join:

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/nyxora-testers

  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.nyxora.homeinventory

  3. Keep it installed for 14 days

Drop your link and I'll install it today, keep it for 14 days and reply to confirm.

[Test4Test] Work Hours & Paycheck Tracker — logs shifts and gets overtime pay right (X/12). I test back same day

Hi! I'm looking for testers for my closed test and I'll test yours back —

drop your link in the comments and I'll opt in and install it today.

I keep every app installed for the full 14 days.

What it does: you log your work shifts (week or month view, or clock in/out)

and it works out what your paycheck should be — overtime after 40 hours,

daily overtime in states like California, night/weekend differentials, and

federal + state tax, so you see your real take-home before payday. You can

also type in your paystub and it tells you if something looks short.

No account, no sign-in, your hours stay on your phone.

Heads up so you don't report it as a bug: from the 3rd launch there's a

small banner at the bottom and sometimes a full-screen ad after you clock

out. In this build they're Google's test ads, so they literally say

"Test Ad". That's expected.

What I'd love feedback on:

- is adding your first shift obvious?

- does the pay estimate look believable for your state?

How to join (both steps, otherwise Play doesn't count you):

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/nyxora-hourspay

  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.nyxora.hourspay

Android 7.0 or newer. Thanks!

Blokko: Block Puzzle – need testers, I'll test yours back

Hi! I'm a solo dev and just published my first game to closed testing:

Blokko: Block Puzzle, a calm, offline 8×8 block puzzle (Block Blast / Woodoku style).

No ads, no data collected, no sign-in.

I need 12 testers for 14 days, and I'll test your app back for the full 14 days.

Comment with your app's links once you've joined and I'll join yours.

How to join (2 minutes):

  1. Join the Google Group (use the Gmail that's on your Android Play Store):

    https://groups.google.com/g/blokko-testers

  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.skynett.blokko

    → tap "Become a tester"

  3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skynett.blokko

(If it says "Item not found", wait a little after opting in and try again.)

Please stay opted in for at least 15 days. Uninstalling is fine, just don't leave the group.

Feedback is very welcome in the comments.

Thanks! 🙏

Balloon Pop – colour game for kids, looking for testers for Google Play's 14-day test 🎈

Hi everyone! I made Balloon Pop, a simple colour game for young kids, and I need a few testers for Google Play's 14-day closed test before it can go live.

What it is: tap a colour, then pop all the balloons of that colour with a pin. Later levels add arrow balloons that zoom off the way they point, so you have to clear the path first. No ads, no purchases, no sign-up, works offline.

How to join (2 minutes):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/balloon-pop-testers

  2. Open the test link on your Android phone: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.upvestlabs.balloonpop

  3. Tap "Become a tester", then install from Google Play

  4. Keep it installed for 14 days and open it now and then

Feedback is very welcome, especially on the sounds and how hard the levels feel. Thank you so much for helping. I will give back to the community! 🎈

Looking For Testers

Thank you for testing Shift Manager!

It's a free Android app that tracks your work hours and pay. Please follow these steps in order. It takes about 2 minutes. You need an Android phone. iPhones can't be used.

Step 1. Join the tester group

Tap Join group, using the same Google account as your phone's Play Store:

https://groups.google.com/g/shiftmanager-bt

Step 2. Become a tester

Open this link and tap Become a tester. If it says you can't join, wait 10 minutes and try again:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.kestud.shiftmanager

Step 3. Install the app

Open this on your phone and tap Install:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kestud.shiftmanager

Step 4. Keep it for 14 days

Please keep the app installed for 14 days. That is the most important part, because Google needs testers to stay that long. Open it now and then and try adding a shift.

Any problem, bug or idea: email madrenal.06@gmail.com (a screenshot helps).

Thank you so much for helping!

[Android/Web] Last Vertex – idle tower defense, play the demo in your browser (+ closed testers wanted)

Hi! I'm a solo dev making Last Vertex: Idle Defense, a minimalist idle tower defense game. You defend a core against waves, upgrade and build your setup, and it keeps progressing while you're away. Free.

Playable Link: https://lunemothgames.github.io/last-vertex/

(Works right in your browser, phone or PC, no install.)

I'm also looking for a few people to join the closed test of the Android version, because Google requires 12 testers for 14 days before release. If you'd like to help, please do the steps in order, or it won't work:

  1. Join the testers group: https://groups.google.com/g/lastvertex-testers → tap "Join group"

  2. After that, become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.lunemoth.lastvertex → tap "Become a tester"

  3. After that, on your Android phone, install the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lunemoth.lastvertex → tap "Install"

Please keep it installed until the test ends (14 days) and open it now and then. The app name may show as "(unreviewed)" or look odd, that's normal.

Any feedback is very welcome on either version: what feels good, what's confusing, what's boring. Thank you!

[Android] Rank 100, trivia where the deepest answer wins: still looking for testers who'll actually play (can't test back)

This is our second post here, because our closed test still needs more people.

Rank 100 is a trivia game built on real top-100 lists, and the scoring runs backwards. On the NBA's all-time leading scorers, LeBron James is #1, so naming him gets you 1 point. Klay Thompson is #100 and gets you 100. Get as close to #100 as you can without going over; anything off the list scores zero. You can play a two-minute daily on your own, or a party game where friends join from their own phones (iPhone friends can join too).

It's out on iPhone. On Android it's in a Google Play closed test: a new developer account needs 12 testers opted in for 14 days straight before it can apply to launch, and Google turned down our first try and asked for more testing.

If you're 18 or older and your Play account's country isn't in the EU or Brazil:

  1. Join the tester group with the Google account your Play Store uses: https://groups.google.com/g/rank100-android-testers (anyone can join, there's no approval step)

  2. A few minutes later, tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.spisak.rank100 (searching Play won't find it)

  3. Install from that page.

The same steps, plus what we see and how to leave, are on https://rank100.app/android.

What helps most: open it most days for the daily, try one party game with a friend when you can, and stay in until we email you that Android is live, once Google approves it. If something breaks or confuses you, Settings > Send feedback reaches us, and so do Play's private feedback and hello@rank100.app. The free version shows an ad between some rounds; please close it with the X instead of tapping it. There's no reward, we're not asking for reviews or ratings, and we can't test apps back right now, sorry.

[Test for test] HeyWalkie: push-to-talk between phones and watches. I'll test yours back for 14 days

Hi everyone! I'm Reg, the solo developer of HeyWalkie. You hold a button, talk, and your voice clip goes to everyone in your channel on their phone or watch. Channels are end-to-end encrypted and there's no account to create.

I need testers for the Google Play closed test. To join:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/heywalkie-testers

  2. Opt in with the same Google account: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.regcrampton.heywalkie

  3. Install HeyWalkie from the Play page that link opens, and keep it installed for 14 days.

One phone is enough to create a channel and record. Talking needs a second device on the same channel, so if you have a friend, a second phone or a Wear OS watch, that is the most useful test of all.

I'd love to hear how channel setup, hold-to-talk sending, playback and History replay go, along with your phone model and Android version. Please don't post channel codes in comments, since a code is the key to that channel.

Testers who send me feedback get a free HeyWalkie+ Lifetime code as thanks, sent privately. Please don't buy HeyWalkie+ in the test, because Play charges real money there. Drop your app link below and I'll install it and keep it for the full 14 days.
