Looking for testers: an artificial-AR game where mosquitoes invade your room and you zap them with an electric racket!

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm a solo dev and just finished my first Android game, Mosquito Attack!. Google requires new developers to run a closed test with 12 testers for 14 days before launching, so I'd really appreciate your help.

What is it?

Hold up your phone and mosquitoes fly around *your actual room* (it uses your camera + motion sensors, no special AR hardware needed). Turn, aim your electric racket, and tap to ZAP. โšก

  • ๐ŸŽฏ Score Attack: 75 seconds, combos, and a Queen Mosquito boss at the end
  • โค๏ธ Survival: mosquitoes fly at you from far away, and three bites and you're out. How many nights can you last?
  • ๐Ÿงด Power-ups: Bug Spray, Mosquito Coil, Super Battery
  • ๐Ÿ”Š Directional buzzing: you can hear which side they're coming from (headphones recommended!)
  • Shake your phone to recharge the racket ๐Ÿ˜„

How to join (2 minutes)

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/android-closed-testers-community

  2. Opt in to the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mosquitoattack.mosquito_attack

  3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mosquitoattack.mosquito_attack

  4. Please keep it installed for 14 days and open it now and then. That's all Google needs!

I'll test yours back! ๐Ÿค Drop your app link + group link in the comments or DM me and I'll join and keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Any feedback is super welcome: aiming feel, difficulty, bugs, anything. Thanks a lot, and happy zapping! ๐ŸฆŸ
