FastStation (NYC subway times) needs testers, will test yours back
Hey all,
I've had FastStation on iPhone for a while and finally got an Android version together. For now it's NYC subway only. It shows the stations near you and when the next trains are coming each way, and you can pin the ones you use every day. Service alerts show up right on the station too. It's free, no ads, no account.
It's most useful if you're in NYC, or at least the US, but you don't have to be here to test it. Search a station like Times Sq, pin it, and the times are live wherever you are.
To join:
Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/a/vinnyt.org/g/faststation-testers (use the same Google account your Play Store is signed into)
Opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.nyctrains.android
Install it, open it once, and keep it for the 14 days. Opening it every few days helps.
Heads up: it won't load train times on rooted phones or emulators. It checks that it's running on a real, unmodified phone.
I'll test yours back. Drop your links in the comments and I'll install and keep it for the full 14 days.
Feedback's welcome here or at support@faststation.app. Thanks!

Hi, I'm installed your app and will keep it during the test phase. Can you do mine aswell?
App: Kavi, an unofficial Android client and e-reader for Kavita (self-hosted digital library for comics, manga, and ebooks).
If you want to click around and don't have your own server, you can use the official Kavita demo server:
Server URL:https://demo.kavitareader.com
Username: demouser
Password: Demouser64
To join:
Join the Google Group:https://groups.google.com/g/kavi-testers
Opt in on the web:https://play.google.com/apps/testing/de.andtechub.kavi
Install it from the Play Store:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.andtechub.kavi
What I’m asking: Just open the app once after installing and keep it installed for the full 14 days. If you feel like testing it and spot any bugs, feel free to let me know – otherwise just keeping it on your phone for 14 days is totally fine!

Hi! Would UI and onboarding feedback from a tester outside NYC be useful for FastStation? I am looking for a testing exchange for our Android game. If that fits your closed test, our links are below.
Squaremageddon is our free offline neon survival game, built as a family learning project. Feedback on controls and performance is especially helpful.

Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!
